Before Wiz we used products like Dome9 and Wiz are simply in their own rank
What do you like best about the product?
- The UI
- Best customer support which is there to assist in urgent times and jump on calls
- Security graph which you can proactively hunt yourself by leveraging Wiz capabilities

What do you dislike about the product?
- Large scanning times of the entire environment to detect misconfigurations
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
- Detecting complex misconfigurations using the security graph, for example, service running over a Container that is exposed via LB to the public. Things that are hard to detect only by monitoring after 0.0.0.0 security rule

Wiz has nearly every want we could ask for, and are open enough to listen and adopt anything else
What do you like best about the product?
The UI is beautiful and easy to understand and use. Additionally, the inclusion of Actions and Automation Rules allows for easy operationalization, and the use of Projects allows us to split ownership across associated teams, which improves adoption.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only downside I could possibly list here is that the tool is still relatively new, and as a result, they are continuing to add new features. Some of these may feel a bit rough around the edges. Additionally, while Wiz does prioritize risk into different buckets of severity, they leave a bit to be desired in terms of adding business context, or determining between 40 high severity vulnerabilities which is the most high severity.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Wiz provides us complete visibility into our cloud environments, both public and private, and assists us in understanding where we may be weak or could improve our cloud posture. It will also help us shift-left our development.
Great product for hybrid environments
What do you like best about the product?
Wiz provides great insights into vulnerabilities and misconfigurations. I can hook it into my ticketing system, which allows me to be notified of changes that can cause security concerns in the environment.
I can also exempt issues that are intended to be there. This tool provides insights from the technical level and reports for management.

What do you dislike about the product?
I can exempt issues, but I cannot set an expiration on the exemption or date to review the exemption.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Wiz is helping me not have to manage numerous tools. It brings security, vulnerability and compliance into one spot.
One tool to secure them all
What do you like best about the product?
Security Graph - an excellent tool for analyzing vulnerabilities and risks in infrastructure.
What do you dislike about the product?
Timeouts - I love security graph, but I am sad when I see a timeout for my analysis :(
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It provides a complete list of risks with additional context, so I know what is most important to patch today.
Simple and Useable
What do you like best about the product?
Wiz was easy to get up and going and unlike other tools we tried, Wiz is very intuitive and easy to navigate and get familiar with. In a day we were already utilizing Wiz. Others we tried were confusing and clunky.
What do you dislike about the product?
With everything Wiz offers, the search bar can be a bit overwhelling at first.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are in the process of building a cloud environment to replace our data center and Wiz provides us with needed insight into our cloud environment for vulnerabilities and secure configuration of the cloud.

What do you like best about the product?
Wiz provides insight and visibility into our cloud environments. The important thing is that the findings are prioritized according to the risk of the organization.

Wiz is great, there is nothing that I dislike.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Vulnerability management and discovery.
Wiz works as expected
What do you like best about the product?
I'm still fairly new to Wiz, but centralizing all the vulnerabilities into one dashboard is helpful to start working through them.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't really have anything that I dislike about Wiz at this time. Still being fairly new to the product/service, I haven't had enough time yet to develop a dislike about it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Mainly vulnerability management at this point in time. It is allowing me to review the vulnerabilities of the environment as they are detected and to work through them with the appropriate teams.
Delightful user interface and experience with a few growing pains
What do you like best about the product?
WIZ invested heavily in a gorgeous and functional user interface. The GraphQL API that powers it has its rough edges, but ultimately enabled our team to satisfy all sorts of requirements by developing against it.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's still early days for the company and the application, so we've had a few issues, such as endpoints returning cryptic 500 errors, as well as some scanning behavior that wasn't properly documented. I believe these should sort themselves out with time as the product matures.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
WIZ enabled us to scan, track and ultimately solve vulnerabilities as well as insecure settings on our vast cloud landscape. It was easy to set up and to interact with, and its flexible enough to allow us to create our own rules, reports, etc.
Wiz has been a tremendous help in asset discovery!
What do you like best about the product?
One of the best features of Wiz is the Threat Center and how they scan your environments against newly discovered vulnerabilities. For example, regarding the OpenSSL 3.0 vulnerability that came out on November 1st, I had a list of vulnerable assets before the patch was released. This allowed us to identify the owners of the assets and make a patching plan, resulting in minimal impact to the services and teams.
What do you dislike about the product?
While powerful and informative, the security graph takes some getting used to to get the syntax correct to display exactly what you are looking for. Maybe there could be a module in the documentation that goes more in-depth on how to craft the queries correctly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Vulnerability Management, Asset Identification, and Compliance scores are just some of the items Wiz is helping solve in our business. It will get even better as time passes as we split out projects and create actions and automation to handle the ticket creation of new vulnerabilities.
Wiz.io provides fantastic coverage
What do you like best about the product?
Container coverage is key for my services. Not only while building but when deploying and after deployment. Knowing the state of our environment is imperative to operational excellence.
What do you dislike about the product?
So far, I have not seen anything to hard-dislike.
