Great product, sensible data model and quick development
What do you like best about the product?
I would say the main advantage of using Wiz is not actually any one feature, but rather the responsiveness of the product and account management teams to our needs. Development is quick and new features drop regularly.
What do you dislike about the product?
As someone who was unfamiliar with products such as Wiz in the past, getting my head around the security graph and especially its API took some time. However the product team was responsive and willing to help.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As an architect, I'm not the typical user of Wiz. We use it within our organisation to monitor our cloud environment, and are very happy with it. Recently I've been using the API provided by the Wiz DSPM solution to automatically discover data assets and ingest them into a data catalogue solution. This helps overcome a shortcoming by pretty much all data catalogue solutions, namely lacking autodiscovery of data assets.

Wiz - Wonderful tool to efficiently tackle security risks in the cloud
What do you like best about the product?
Wiz is really easy to deploy. The onboarding process takes only a few minutes. Quickly after, you get the full visibility on your cloud environments.
Wiz allows you to focus on the most important security issues in your environment. The platform comes with so many built-in rules that it allows you to efficiently evaluate your security risks. The product is flexible and let you create your own rules, for simple or complex scenarios. Their Security Graph is very easy to query.
The Wiz UI is very intuitive and is easily adopted by various teams, even those with no security background.
Wiz platform is consistently evolving, with new features or improvements on existing capabilities.

What do you dislike about the product?
You can't block threats on workloads with Wiz. If you wish to have an active workload protection, you will have to rely on another product to complement Wiz.
Wiz is only doing periodic scans. The near-realtime updates are limited to a few cloud services as of today.
Despite covering most of the Azure services, there are still some services with a partial coverage.

With Wiz, we can get visibility on our all our cloud from a single platform. Wiz correlates many information (identity, network, cloud configuration, vulnerabilities, secrets, etc.) from its scans to detect security risks.
It gives us visibility and security insights on complex environments such as Kubernetes and its containers.
We use Wiz to monitor our external attack surface, which is not an easy thing in the cloud.

Great Product
What do you like best about the product?
Great onboarding process with the customer support team. Easy to use and add new memebers into the system that are none technical. Have tried a rival previously and Wiz provided a much more comprehensive cooperative work approach. Connects into multiple ticketing systems to automatically update tickets. Can compare to multiple frameworks jn one click
What do you dislike about the product?
Projects taking an overnight update to populate with data. SSO set up is slightly complicated and the guide to set it up is not the best at times. Unable to bulk invite users via CSV
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Looking at our cloud security posture. Is giving us access to view areas of the business that were locked down due to access issues, this gap has now been solved.
Excellent oversight, easy to install and maintain
What do you like best about the product?
Wiz shows you everything you need to know about your cloud environment. Since you connect your cloud resources on a subscription level new resources automatically gets added to Wiz, no need to worry about someone forgetting to install an agent on a set of resources. With Wiz it is easy to identify and fix security issues since you know exactly which resources you need to focus on. When a new threat emerges you can get an overview of your risk in seconds. Extensive documentation and an active interest in listening to customer requests has also been a big positive.
What do you dislike about the product?
Wiz can be overwhelming, at least at first. When you connect Wiz to your cloud subscriptions for the first time you get presented with a lot of resources, and as a result a lot of potential issues and vulnerabilities. Despite this the categorisation of Wiz and their extensive documentation made this manageable but it does come with a learning curve.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Wiz solves the oversight issue. With Wiz we can have an instant and accurate overview of our cloud environment and all the issues and vulnerabilities that affects us.
Really decent at what they do
What do you like best about the product?
Wiz is a step ahead of competitors. The overview is comprehensive.
What do you dislike about the product?
The UI can get a bit difficult to navigate
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Staying on top of security loopholes. Being up to date with CVEs being involved in the infrastructure
Use it as a devops to mitigate cloud security risks
What do you like best about the product?
Features are well written (code), good support, growth speed is amazing, low rate of false positives.
What do you dislike about the product?
Complexity, sometimes its hard to understand.
Also maturity level.

Helps watching the cloud resources and manage the risks in it.
Really useful Cloud Security Tool
What do you like best about the product?
I really enjoy using Wiz because it allows me to quickly see where we are at risk in our Cloud environment. The dashboard feature that shows a count of how many issues were created/resolved day to day is really helpful. I think the UI is very intuitive and vast. It feels like if I ever need to do something in Wiz it's just a matter of reading documentation or asking for help in a ticket and finding it. I think the best thing about Wiz for me is the remediations, the fact that you can copy paste a peice of code thats already pre-written is so valuable. It saves a lot of time trying to to do research and figure out how to solve an issue. It helps too that the descriptions of the issues are pretty in depth and easy to understand. I consistently have to explain these issues to our devs and being able to read and understand exactly what the issue is, is really valuable to me.
What do you dislike about the product?
The down sides of using Wiz would be for 1 the SOAR capabilities are all external. With Rapid7's Insight CloudSec we were able to make automations that would take actions in our environment. It seems with Wiz if we want to do anything outside of Slack notifications we'll have to use a paid platform like Blinkops, Torq, or Tines. It'd be nice to see more native automation in Wiz, a Role that can stop instances, update Cloudformation configurations, enable logging on S3 buckets when they're created, etc.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The problem that Wiz is solving for my company is in Cloud Compliance. We are currently in the process of preparing for an ISO 27001 audit, and being able to see what resources we have in our environment that are non-compliant is really helpful. I think it's also great at surfacing issues that wouldn't be inherently seen, I am mainly talking about the Toxic combinations that get correlated in the platform.
Great tool for vulnerability assessment.
What do you like best about the product?
Wiz is incredibly intuitive and provides very detailed context. It is 100% agentless and works like a charm. With little cloud skill you can deploy the product in minutes and have 100% visibility of your (multi) cloud environment in less than 24hr.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is no such dislike, however there is scope of omprovement. It's prone to some false possitive.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Wiz helping us quickly detect vulnerabilities without configuring external scans or deploying agents across clouds and workloads, also we got the sugesstions on how we can remove these vulnerbilities. It's been benifiting us to reduce the turn around time for critical and hight vulnerbilities.
Wiz is best in class for teams of all size
What do you like best about the product?
Wiz provides teams of all size visibility and helps identify gaps in their cloud infrastructure. They excel at many things and are always working with their customers to find countless other areas to bring value in. Wiz really is as flexible of a tool as there is and only limited by the knowledge and ability of your team to leverage the functionality.
Besides it's obvious functionality as a CSPM, Wiz enables teams customizability that fit in with their Security mission - whatever that may be. It's a very low maintenaince tool that gives teams the time back to focus on the priorities that matter. It's an easy sell to any organization - it meets all the requirements you could have any with almost no compute overhead and reliability - the tool scales with your org at an instant.
Wiz also provides some of the best customer service in the industry and is extremely competitive in terms of pricing.

What do you dislike about the product?
Wiz often times will release new features that are intended on being "tested" - this can mean that if you don't understand what the value or use case is, they can feel not "production" ready. Some orgs can be turned off by this, but for an org with proper technical resources you'll be able to provide feedback to Wiz to help shape the feature(s) to what you really need.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Wiz solves a multiple of problems - primarily as our Cloud vulnerability scanning solution, but also provides visibility into our overall posture and tracks our compliance adherance making audits that make faster.
I think it's a good product for security posture monitoring
What do you like best about the product?
It's pretty user friendly, everything is clickable and easy to understand
What do you dislike about the product?
Maybe to have more flexibilities, like, to make every filtering I want to create a ticket
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It gives a pretty wide view on all cloud security resources
