Simple setup with contextually aware and helpful findings
What do you like best about the product?
Wiz gives the user context about security vulnerabilities and ranks severity based on exposure, etc. The UI and information they present able issues make it easy to determine the root cause to mitigate the issue quickly.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are no real downsides to Wiz, in my experience. It can be a challenge dealing with the volume of issues after the first installation, particularly in large cloud environments.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Wiz gives us comprehensive visibility into our cloud environments and workloads and can quickly highlight security issues within environments. This allows us to continually report our cloud security posture to stakeholders.
Best tool for managing cloud risk
What do you like best about the product?
- Alerts in Wiz are prioritized based on context. A vulnerability on a publicly exposed container with high permissions is automatically higher severity than the same vulnerability on a less important container. This saves us from doing the prioritization ourselves.
- Wiz is agentless, which was a requirement for us. Some of our business units didn't want to install and deal with an agent on their production workloads. Deployment was simple.
- Whenever a new threat emerges, Wiz almost immediately provides a detection for it. Responding to new vulnerabilities or assuring leadership that we aren't affected is significantly easier with Wiz.
- Wiz is agentless, which was a requirement for us. Some of our business units didn't want to install and deal with an agent on their production workloads. Deployment was simple.

What do you dislike about the product?
As a fast-growing company, Wiz makes significant changes quickly. Since we built external tools that rely on Wiz alerts being consistent, Wiz changes sometimes caused errors in our tools.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Wiz is our primary CSPM. It allows us to find vulnerabilities and misconfigurations in AWS/GCP, prioritize the alerts, and send them to users.
Excellent product less technical requirements
What do you like best about the product?
I think Wiz provides a good balance between vulnerability assessment and policy assessment.
It also does not require any infrastructure to be stood up. It's all cloud-based and works through API connectors, thus requiring minimal effort to manage.

What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing to be categorized as dislike as in something unacceptable. There are a few UI options or flexibility of use that can be improved, but because Wiz has a feature request procedure, this is also taken care of.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our business lacked a holistic Cloud Security Posture management solution that gave us cybersecurity-level visibility in cloud environments because industries are moving majorly to the cloud from an infrastructure perspective. Thus, with Wiz we were able to cover that security gap.
Great CSPM tool, easy integration, and informative documentation!
What do you like best about the product?
Wiz highlights the critical issues without all the "noise." The tool combines essential cloud security information using its own secret sauce controls to allow a focused strategy - it doesn't bury teams in thousands of CVE's.
What do you dislike about the product?
I haven't found much to dislike about the product. It's a clean interface, intuitive, and won't need much training to comprehend. If I could make one change, it would be to improve the response time on rescans and reruns...it would be nice to know the results of a rescan/rerun within one hour.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
In addition, I discovered that managers like it because they are no longer required to provide cloud access to multiple individuals - granting Wiz access gives insight into all cloud environments.

What do you dislike about the product?
There is a fair amount of alert fatigue that sets in.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is necessary to understand cloud posture but it is difficult to do so. Wiz solves that problem.

What do you like best about the product?
Wiz's awareness of links between resources drives real value, as it's able to understand vulnerabilities in context. Being able to associate e.g. Kubernetes resources to the underlying cloud resources is critical for the tool to be able to report on actual threat vectors, and Wiz seems to be well ahead of their competitors in this regard.
What do you dislike about the product?
The amount of information available within the user interface is huge, and at times it can be hard to identify the key information or how an item is configured.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Wiz helps us solve infrastructure misconfiguration but as a bonus provides excellent visibility into our infrastructure and applications - it's often much quicker to search for a resource in Wiz rather than multiple service consoles.

Public endpoints exposure views, Access Keys spread over EC2 resources, Excessive Permissions for Users / Roles & Patch management.
What do you dislike about the product?
1) Kubernetes integration - hard to imliment within CI / CD. I used Bash script installation by hand instead.
2) Dockerhub integration is lacking
- Also clear documentation about it.
3) Periodicaly scans taking to long, some changes I would expect to see right away and not wait 24H until I see results.
4) Patch management - some vulnerabilities appear, but they come from OS base image and OS provider does nod advise to update packages independintly, which is frustrating when we get to anual security audits. If theres a vulnerability please provide a realistic solution.

The graph view, is very simple and explanatory

shortcuts queries, although they are usefull they are sometimes not giving accurate results

I liked the option of connecting accounts at organization level .and we dont have to fibuild an automation to add each cloud account that was created.

Excellent service trying to improve themselves all the time

Building queries on your own is still complicated and requires a lot of cloud knowledge, but the company helps with every question.
