Really useful Cloud Security Tool
What do you like best about the product?
I really enjoy using Wiz because it allows me to quickly see where we are at risk in our Cloud environment. The dashboard feature that shows a count of how many issues were created/resolved day to day is really helpful. I think the UI is very intuitive and vast. It feels like if I ever need to do something in Wiz it's just a matter of reading documentation or asking for help in a ticket and finding it. I think the best thing about Wiz for me is the remediations, the fact that you can copy paste a peice of code thats already pre-written is so valuable. It saves a lot of time trying to to do research and figure out how to solve an issue. It helps too that the descriptions of the issues are pretty in depth and easy to understand. I consistently have to explain these issues to our devs and being able to read and understand exactly what the issue is, is really valuable to me.
What do you dislike about the product?
The down sides of using Wiz would be for 1 the SOAR capabilities are all external. With Rapid7's Insight CloudSec we were able to make automations that would take actions in our environment. It seems with Wiz if we want to do anything outside of Slack notifications we'll have to use a paid platform like Blinkops, Torq, or Tines. It'd be nice to see more native automation in Wiz, a Role that can stop instances, update Cloudformation configurations, enable logging on S3 buckets when they're created, etc.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The problem that Wiz is solving for my company is in Cloud Compliance. We are currently in the process of preparing for an ISO 27001 audit, and being able to see what resources we have in our environment that are non-compliant is really helpful. I think it's also great at surfacing issues that wouldn't be inherently seen, I am mainly talking about the Toxic combinations that get correlated in the platform.

It's pretty user friendly, everything is clickable and easy to understand

Maybe to have more flexibilities, like, to make every filtering I want to create a ticket

What do you like best about the product?
Wiz is a very easy and simple to set-up CNAPP that allows people to have a centralized, easy to use and intuitive platform for all the Cloud security needs.
It has a wide range of graphs and dashboards, that you can also customize to satisfy your needs.
It also has a lot of security frameworks and complicance systems so that you can check all aspects of your infraestructure.
For a small team like mine, it is very simple and fast to check the highest priority issues and remediate them, as the issues shown in Wiz also provide information and interconnection within all the resources.

What do you dislike about the product?
Despite scans being run automatically often enough, a manual scan trigger would be greatly appreciated, specially when looking for a real-time fixes and threats.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Finding all the security threats and presenting them in a very clear and concise way, with different priorities, so that I can focus on fixing the most urgent and important ones and have a way to determine their root cause.

What do you like best about the product?
I like the best the option to see topoligic of the vulnerability for e.g ec2 -> AMI -> CVE .. etc.., it is super comfortable and super accurate!
What do you dislike about the product?
Scanning time taking a bit to long, maybe if there is an option to rescan from the vulnerable point.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Scanning Docker images using wiz-cli, Security vulnerability scanning of the Cloud, Exposed ALBs to the world, WAF rules that have not been set correctly.

It is essential to have a single place where all the relevant information is found, and sorted in a clear and organized manner.

Currently, it does not cover all the desired areas.

Organizing all security vulnerabilities in a user-friendly interface, saving time and resources.

The UI is very simple and ituitive. Most security products are messy, and I cant understand where to start in order to remidate the issue.
What do you dislike about the product?
Long time to update.
Sometimes after we remidate the issue it could take a few days until Wiz console will update and stop showing the issue.

Wiz allow us to find vaulrabilites in exploited ami version on k8s nodes, and other exploited pkgs.
Great mapping tool, sometimes a little bit slow on discovery of assets

The relationship between all objects in the cloud. Great graph display, fast web-ui.

Too few exmaples when you try to query your data.

Amazing UI for Security Analysis & Best Api Support for Automation
What do you like best about the product?
I Like the UI mostly. The way it displays any of the security exposure or data and then lot many hidden data in a graphical format.I never see any tool so far which is having these many maturity level and a very fast security detection method. Along with this I am quite impresses with the api its supports. Its very easy to automate the things in your own way just by going through developer tab and its documentation receipe.
What do you dislike about the product?
For few of the requirement where we did automation using api, sometimes the open ticket for a request crossed more than a month. We do have one in bucket and hoping to hear back on resolution from wiz soon.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
So far we are utilizing many benefits from wiz like security graph detetction using alerting mechanism to find and vulnerable resource in cloud, wiz outpost feature, auto assigning of new issue detected in wiz with JIRA using wiz api in automation, wiz cli scan IAC,Container,AMI Image,VM etc , Reporting and Analytics and many more.
Wiz for fast growing companies with a small security team
What do you like best about the product?
The frequent updates and evolution of the product, Wiz is an easy way to undertand and summerize something that would take us days to understand if we were to use che classic CSV + Power Bi approach.
What do you dislike about the product?
The frequent updates and evolution of the product, there is so many changes all the time that it is hard for small team to follow every single patch or good evolution. I say this even with the very helpful blogpost and support of Wiz, I believe that more training/certification would be needed.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Wiz is covering almost everything in the cloud security stack, it would be easier to give exemple of what isn't covered than the opposite. Having everything in the same place help us to consolidate usage monitoring and costs, this is also an easier solution than having to link multiples products together through differents pipelines.
