Easy to keep track on our Assets: IBM Maximo
What do you like best about the product?
Since our users are travelling around the round before it was difficult for us to maintain assets. Now, after started using this IBM Maximo asset management tool it's very easy for us to track, assign and maintain all assets. We can easily know the status of assets based on sites. easy to add Assets. With this tool, reporting is very easy for us.
What do you dislike about the product?
Loading time is very high. It has almost the features we need. Still, we need to explore this. Right now there is no dislike about this tool.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Adding user assets.
Assigning it to users.

The interface revamp is greatly appreciated as well as the integration with other software tools

Previously it was the menu interfaces but that has improved

Maximo has helped my organization grow exponentially in terms of performance improvement and efficiency by tracking lost time and improving work process flow
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Learn the basic menu items and take time to understand the different dashboards and you will be fine. Maximo is a very powerful tool when used correctly.

The Multi-site capability of IBM Maximo and Integration.

Cant point out a negativity because it Maximo serves me in the best way i want.

Managing different site and locations from one point. This has saved our resources in terms of unnecessary physical movements from location to location.

Go for it if you want to realize a profit and efficiency in you managerial work.

What do you like best about the product?
The Commodity Groups and Codes in the Item Master application provides a way for us to analyze spending by product type (based on Commodity), it can also be used to generate an accurate report to the management. While the Item Classifications and Attributes can be used to accommodate the technical specification of items and to identify similar object.
What do you dislike about the product?
Customization is sometimes required but can be done.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
By properly implementing the Material Classification with their Attributes in the Item Master application and also by utilizing the right Commodity Groups and Codes, I realized that we have actually improve the functionality of the system, easy to filter/search for items and easy to manage our Items which is required to support the Maintenance activities.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
In order to maximize the functionality of the system, I highly recommend that during the implementation, the Material Classification with their Attributes and the Commodity Groups and Codes are also implemented, it is required a good data preparation (to prevent “garbage-in, garbage-out”), but also end up with an excellent result.

Easy to use and good to management

You can assign as many ticket and track them very easy. It's very easy to track work orders, manage all you assest accros different sites and also have a concept of hierarchy in what is lacking and has to be imporved based on statistics.
What do you dislike about the product?
Info available to look and solve smaller issues that might rise during usage.

Provides great connections on the remote sites and especially is great on ticketing purposes, easy to familiarize with and utilize the system.

Provides good connection even in remote areas. Good IBM tool for ticketing purpose, includes ITIL practices as well

Little improvement required for front GUI and look of this product
