Effective 24/7 Threat Monitoring, Some Room for Improvement
What do you like best about the product?
Provides strong coverage across endpoints, network, and cloud with proactive threat detection. A knowledgeable support team that provides clear, actionable steps during investigations. Onboarding was smooth, and the dashboards give a quick view of security posture.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some reports are not customizable enough for our internal needs, and there can be delays in communication for lower-priority incidents. Integration with a few niche third-party tools required additional support, and contract terms (like log ingestion limits) could have been clearer upfront.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have a geographically distributed team and partner/vendor ecosystem with varying levels of security controls. Sophos MDR is helping us address the challenge of 24/7 threat monitoring and response across these diverse areas, which we couldn’t realistically manage with our internal team alone. It closes the gap in detecting and responding to advanced threats like phishing attempts, lateral movement, and endpoint compromises. By having a dedicated analyst team continuously monitoring alerts and investigating suspicious activity, we’ve reduced the time it takes to identify and contain incidents.
