What do you like best about the product?
Computer monitoring and management. Ensuring security, accurate and healthy reporting, and lastly, ensuring that the Log service is strong and stable.
What do you dislike about the product?
The product was removed and simple mistakes were brought back after a long effort.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As I said in the previous question, the LOG service is working stabilized and follows everything without any problems.

What do you like best about the product?
I like the ease of use of the portal, and how seamless it integrates throughout our IT infrastructure. The $1M warranty on breaches is also a good feature
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes removing sophos from a device can be a pain, especially when Sophos Zap isn't working as expected and the device needs wiped
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sophos is great as it essentially allows us to have a SOC running 24/7 which isn't something that would be feasible within an org like ours. Having trust in the system is also good as we can trust it to only show us alerts that are actually a potential threat.

What do you like best about the product?
Sophos MDR excels in providing comprehensive and proactive threat detection and response. The service offers 24/7 monitoring by a team of experts who actively hunt for threats, ensuring our network remains secure. The centralized dashboard provides an efficient overview of our security data, making it easy to manage and respond to potential threats swiftly. Additionally, the customer support team is incredibly responsive, providing peace of mind with their prompt and professional assistance.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sophos Central could use faster load speeds. The website responsiveness has improved lately but is not there yet, there is room for improvement.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
So far we haven't had a security breach but for false positives the team has been fast to respond.

Sophos MDR: Flexibility when you want it, peace of mind when you need it

What do you like best about the product?
I like that it has the flexablity of being a managed soluiton, while still allowing property level IT staff to perform investigations of their own. It integrates with our email soluion, firewalls, and virutal environments. We have even had a couple instances where we opened tickets with the MDR team to assist with workstation reviews that went to 'questionable' sites, just to have peace of mind. We get weekly reports for each of our properties that detail any investations that took place behind the scenses. Everything ties back to a central web portal, which makes manuvering between the endpoint soultion, threat hunting, email protection, and other tools fairly seemless.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the initial setup for the log collecting can be a bit confusing. However, the Sophos SE's are usually willing to jump in and assist without trying to nickle and dime you. When lumping multilpe sites together, you will need to create sub-estates, which sometimes makes it tricky to track your licensing per site for other sophos products, but for the antivirus/MDR solution, you can deploy a specific agent that will link a workstation/server to a specific sub-estate.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are a medium-sized company, with small, decentralzied IT departments. Sophos MDR provides us a 3rd party, 24/7 cyber security team that monitors all our environments. We were already utilizing the Sophos Endpoint Detection and Response on our workstaitons, which made moving to the MDR platform rather seemless, We then added on the email protection and network detection and response pieces to get a firmer grip on cyber security.

What do you like best about the product?
Their teams are fast to act once they detect something of concern.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dont know how fast they respond to fast action smash and grab attacks. They may not act on it soon enough.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have a small IT team, they provide that "Big Brother" watching when our teams are busy working on other projects or off work.

What do you like best about the product?
Having used Sophos MDR for the last few years one of the things that stands out is how very well designed and easy to use their interface is. In addition, their communication and timely, focused updates make our company feel very safe and secure in using their service. I have not had much need for their technical support but when I have had to use it, they were responsive, knowledgable and above all quick. I don't think I would personally sleep well at night if I didn't know that Sophos MDR was monitoring our netwoek 24/7/365.
What do you dislike about the product?
Really, like any other service I wish it was cheaper. But, I really don't mind paying extra for that feeling of safety.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are a small business and don't really have the resources to dedicate full time for network security. Sophos has been a solid partner in managing and monitoring our network. There is absolutely no way we would be able to achieve their level of thoroughness on our own.

Sophos MDR: improving security with a simple click

What do you like best about the product?
Since we were already customers of Sophos InterceptX Advanced with XDR, moving to MDR is just a matter of adding the license and setting up the contact methods, so the ease of integration is maximum. Sophos takes care of everything, moreover, there is even an onboarding service to verify that everything is correct. Once configured, Sophos takes care of everything: reviewing detections, analyzing them, and if necessary, responding in record time. MDR has allowed us to save a lot of time, as it is no longer necessary for us to review the console daily, since they do it for us.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sophos MDR can be somewhat strict, in the sense that there are teams we know have some deficiencies that they ask us to resolve, and we must justify the reason why they must remain as they are. We understand that their condition is not correct, but due to operational issues, it is not possible to change them.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Two main problems: lack of time and high level of knowledge. Being an MDR, we no longer have to invest time in reviewing XDR alerts and contextualizing them, but also, if there is a need to respond, Sophos takes care of it for us. Regarding knowledge, even though we have staff focused on cybersecurity, it is impossible to reach the level of dedication required to conduct the number of proactive threat searches, because even if one is very up-to-date with the latest developments, a team like MDR, with all the clients it has, will always be much more updated and will look for new problems even before cybercriminals attempt them.
