Amazing experience
What do you like best about the product?
The best thing about BS is its ease of use. It provides a seamless experience and is super efficient.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing in specific. Can be better in terms of the coverage and flexibility of pay-as-you-use.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Mobile and Web Application testing without making huge investment on devices.
QA at scale
What do you like best about the product?
We love the ability to tie into automation pipelines that can analyze the site and generate actionable reports that are sent directly to engineering teams.
What do you dislike about the product?
The confusing billing setup: we had to create two accounts: 1 to facilitate automation/testing pipelines, and a 2nd to facilitate virtualized device testing.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Testing at scale with limited human resources.
Impressive availability of platforms and devices to test
What do you like best about the product?
The ease of use of any given product - both Live and App Live programs, very accessible menu to choose the devices from and extreme ease of installing our own app on a real device to test.
What do you dislike about the product?
It is difficult to install an app from an official store - Google or Apple, I would like to see some more convenient way of installing a free application from any given store
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The most common case is when a complaint comes from the support department from a user who uses a specific device, which we don't possess physically. In 99.99999% of the cases we can easily find such device in the wide selection available on Browserstack and investigate the issue.
Easy way to test multiple browsers
What do you like best about the product?
I love how easy it is to use. With the browser plugin, it's just a simple click to pick your browser and then your current tab opens in that browser, ready for testing. The emulators load very quickly and are very responsive.
What do you dislike about the product?
The cost is a little high, but it's ultimately worth it for a quality product.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As a digital marketing agency, we need to create websites that are accessible by users on multiple platforms. Browserstack helps us make sure that all users have a quality experience by allowing us to test our target browsers for compatibility with our websites.
Absolutely amazing tool for testing Web/Mobile Web and App content
What do you like best about the product?
We are using BrowserStack for testing Web/Mobile Web and App ad formats. It allows testing on a huge variety of real devices streaming the screen and transmitting the input. The platform is easy to use and almost self-explaining so it doesn't require much training. We are also using the geo-location switch to QA geo-targeted advertising campaigns.
What do you dislike about the product?
It could be a tick more performant. That's quite normal for streaming, though.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We don't need to buy real devices anymore for testing!

What do you dislike about the product?
As of now, there is not much. The only nitpicking I could find is that compared to iOS the choice of Android devices is less. This is expected because the number of Android devices released is 100 times more in the market.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Test in a variety of live devices with various OS and browser combinations. This helps us reduce the cost of buying and maintaining the actual devices. Even if we buy actual devices, this again requires a constant upgrade in the devices themselves. BrowserStack helps create a hassle-free way of easily maintaining a vast number of devices with ease.
Great product for the price and ability to test a wide variety of experiences for UI

price, ease of use, ability to manage users and invite users to platform by link or email invitation.

no downsides have been determined, value for price is key to positive review.

purchasing multiple devices needed for platform testing, making an affordable solution for QA/dev
Incredibly useful visual testing
What do you like best about the product?
Being able to detect even minute unexpected changes to the UI is so useful. We recently added a new sidebar component to all of our wizard screens and being able to see the before and after for every screen in one place was so powerful and allowed us to easily check the layout for screens with the widest and narrowest content to ensure they still looked correct.
What do you dislike about the product?
More intelligent understanding of why content on the page has changed and the ability to check layout rather than exact content would be amazing.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It vastly reduces the time and code required to produce new tests, as we don't have to assert anything about the front end ourselves. The visual snapshots take care of all of that for us.

Sometimes i can't start the device (android)

When i use my app with android devices from Browserstack i know how my app works on it.
BrowserStack support is beyond anything I have encountered before
What do you like best about the product?
Apart from the excellent browser and device testing platform, their support is extensive and personal. We had some hard-to-tackle problems within our test setup, and even though it wasn't directly related to their platform, they still tried to solve it with us.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like the name BrowserStack anymore because it used to make sense, but nowadays, the eco sytem is much more complex with apps and even TVs. Also sometimes the selenium based platform is a bit slow.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
They help us with keeping up to date with the newest devices. Next, we optimized our test automation efforts due to the scalable platform they provided. Our extensive test set is done under 10 minutes, and without it would take hours.
