That I can test multiple things at once.

  • February 16, 2023
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Cuts testing time by a lot. I especially appreciate the simulators. One of the best things about it is that I can test multiple things at once. I haven't tried many others so I can't really attest to the competition.
What do you dislike about the product?
You can't test animation effects, the refresh is too low. If their service is down, so is your testing, havent happened many times but it does happen. The colors.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I was trying to see if I had any bugs and if I did I was trying to figure out how to fix them. With this I am a ton more productive. My business performance increased significantly!

Great service to automate UI tests for mobile

  • February 16, 2023
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Browserstack is very useful service for mobile automation testing and UI verification. It provides full suite of APIs and browsers hassle free. You as a developer don't need to set up all drivers, start servers, etc.

Also, it has pretty good coverage of Android devices to reproduce tricky bugs.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some Android native APIs behave differently from devices I used locally. For example, autofilled values were not accessible to test for verification. It could be connected to security restrictions due to potential modification in sortware of connected devices in Browserstack, but I can't confirm that.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Browserstack provides good set of tools and wide variety of devices to reproduce issues, test application behavior and verify correctness or presented UI. It helps to reduce time QA teams need to run regression tests.

Best platform to automate and test your android & iOS Apps

  • February 16, 2023
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
App Live is one of my best features that BrowserStack has.
We have been using this for so long and it helps us test both Android & iOS through a wide range of devices and OS
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing major its just that sometimes it gets slow for us here and due to that we see some laggy AppLive behavior aside from this it always performs up to our expectations
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
BrowserStack solved our problem for the ability to test apps on wide range of devices and also gave us the control to automate the process of testing, Automated testing reports are also good

Real website testing experience

  • February 16, 2023
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Best thing is we are testing on real products. Multiple browsers, screen sizes can be tested at one platform with great accuracy.
What do you dislike about the product?
Few of ad-ons present on our website were not working on Browserstack website.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Browserstack helps in website testing across browsers, screen sizes. We can actually see if our website content is breaking in any of these screen sizes. My team can test website with this one tool, else it is impossible for us to buy different screen sizes and test on real devices. Other testing softwares available in market does not test on real device.

  • February 16, 2023
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Browserstack has a plentiful amount of devices and is fast and easy to use. It saves me countless hours of devtime trying to diagnose issues. Having a full dev-console is especially useful.
What do you dislike about the product?
It would be useful to have to option to speed up devices, so that I can test is certian aspects can run on a device, without being limited by CPU speed.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Allowing me to test my webiste across mutiple devices.

I am pleased that am able to test my app on a number of devices.

  • February 16, 2023
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I am able to test my app on all devices something which has helped me a lot in bug-fixing of UI stylings before the app is rolled out for production. I found out bugs I did not know existed.
What do you dislike about the product?
Am unable to save the current device, there is a waste of time on every new session to set up the new device like google account signing, etc.
I found I could use the idle time however the maximum 15 minutes are also less.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Early preparation for production with confidence. Since i have tested the application on almost all devices, this gives me the confidence to go for production.

The dashboard is extremely frustrating to use

  • February 16, 2023
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I mean it works kind

My description of BrowserStack is that it could really be much better

I supposed I tolerate it is because it was pretty easy to intergrate
What do you dislike about the product?
The dashboard - there is no ergonomics put into the design of the dashboard

It doesn't scroll properly, the filter is pretty much useless

And why can't you change the sort of the text logs to show the latest message at the top instead of scrolling all the way to the bottom, then if i want to scroll back up, i have to scroll the entire text log back up before the actual window will scroll

The pricing structure makes no sense and you do not get rewarded for adding more products

The lack of investment and development put into playwright meant i had to change the framework

The documentation is misleading and sometimes not inline with your offering, special when using playwright
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The only problem it solves is device coverage, other than that testing on the device is extremely slow and buggy

Trial Time is too short

  • February 16, 2023
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
It can run on multiple Operating Systems and browsers. For Chrome, It can run through an extension which is every convenient.
What do you dislike about the product?
The trial time is only 1 minute. I need to update the OS and browser before running a test. just have enough time to do a set of actions on the web I need to check. I didn't have time to try out the Playback function.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I can run the test on different OSs and browsers.

Best tool for cross-browser testing

  • February 16, 2023
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The best thing about BrowserStack is its ability to run parallel tests in multiple environments and the feature to view, play and download the execution as a video.
What do you dislike about the product?
The maximum idle Timeout limit is set to some value. It would have been better if the idle time-out can be set to a higher value while testing slow applications.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Cross-browser testing and running multiple tests in parallel without using any other tools. With just 2-3 lines of code is enough to integrate the automation scripts with BrowserStack.

BrowserStack Is The Best!

  • February 16, 2023
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
BrowserStack is a fantastic tool for developers and testers who need to test their web applications across different devices, browsers, and operating systems. One of the most helpful things about BrowserStack is its ability to simulate a wide variety of environments, which means that developers can quickly and easily test their applications on virtually any device or browser without needing to physically own all of those devices.

Another upside of BrowserStack is that it's easy to use, even for those who may not be particularly tech-savvy. The interface is intuitive and user-friendly, and the tool offers a variety of features and functionalities to help you test and debug your applications effectively. Additionally, BrowserStack offers excellent customer support and resources, including documentation and tutorials to help you get the most out of the tool.

Overall, BrowserStack is a powerful tool that can save developers a lot of time and headaches when it comes to testing web applications. Its ability to simulate a wide range of environments and its user-friendly interface make it a top choice for developers and testers alike. Whether you're working on a small project or a large enterprise application, BrowserStack is a tool that can help you get the job done efficiently and effectively.
What do you dislike about the product?
While BrowserStack is an excellent tool for testing web applications, one downside is that it can be relatively expensive compared to some other testing tools on the market. While there are a variety of pricing plans available to suit different needs and budgets, some users may find the cost of using BrowserStack prohibitive, particularly if they're working on a smaller project or have limited resources available.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
BrowserStack helps solve the business problem of ensuring that web applications function properly across a wide range of devices, browsers, and operating systems. With so many different devices and platforms available to users today, it's becoming increasingly challenging for developers to ensure that their applications work seamlessly across all of them.
