Essential for Cross-Browser Testing, Smooth Selenium Integration
What do you like best about the product?
I love real device and real browser testing with BrowserStack because it gives me confidence that the application behaves just as users experience it, not just in emulators. The seamless Selenium integration is fantastic, as it integrates easily with my Java + Selenium setups, which saves setup time. I also really appreciate the ability to run multiple tests in parallel, which significantly reduces regression execution time, especially during sprint releases. The stable and consistent test runs mean fewer flaky failures compared to locally managed environments. I find the quick environment availability very convenient since there's no need to install or manage different browser versions, drivers, or devices. The debugging tools, such as logs, screenshots, and video recordings, are incredibly useful, making it much easier to analyze failures and report defects accurately.
What do you dislike about the product?
Limited free usage and higher pricing can be challenging for small teams or individual testers
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use BrowserStack to address cross-browser compatibility and device availability issues. It eliminates the need for local environments and setups, saves time and cost, and allows early defect detection. Parallel test execution speeds up regression cycles, while debugging tools enhance test reliability.
Efficient Cross-Browser Testing, but Pricing Challenges
What do you like best about the product?
I really like how BrowserStack allows us to select random devices and browsers for running our test suite executions. This feature is incredibly useful since we have a broader audience in different regions and a variety of device users. It's impossible for our QA team to execute test cases manually on each type of combination or even in local settings, and BrowserStack offers instant solutions for this challenge. The improvements we noticed, especially on Microsoft Edge for all types of platforms, have been substantial. I also appreciate how easy the initial setup was, just by changing the server URL and a few functions for desired capabilities.
What do you dislike about the product?
Pricing is too costly for parallel executions.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use BrowserStack for test automation, solving cross-browser testing challenges, and testing on random devices and browsers. It provides instant solutions for diverse user environments, improving test coverage, especially on MS Edge across platforms.
Transforms Testing with Real Devices
What do you like best about the product?
I really like how BrowserStack makes cross-browser testing so easy and convenient. It allows me to test my projects across different browsers, operating systems, and devices without needing to install or maintain anything locally. The ability to run real-time tests on actual devices, especially mobile ones, is a game-changer. It feels much more reliable than using emulators or simulators. The platform is also intuitive, so I don’t have to spend too much time setting things up. I can just focus on testing and debugging, making the whole process faster and smoother.
What do you dislike about the product?
One thing that could be improved with BrowserStack is the occasional lag during live testing on remote devices, especially when testing on mobile browsers. While the overall experience is smooth, sometimes the responsiveness isn’t as fast as I’d like, especially when running tests with heavy pages or on lower-end devices. Another area for improvement would be the pricing. While it’s a great tool, it can be a bit expensive for smaller teams or solo developers. More flexible pricing options or lower-cost plans would make it more accessible for everyone. Lastly, some of the device and browser configurations aren’t always up-to-date with the latest versions, which can be a bit frustrating if you need to test with the most recent releases right away.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
BrowserStack saves me time by providing instant access to a wide range of browsers and devices for real-time testing without the hassle of setting up numerous devices or virtual machines.
