Entering the future of Email Security with Abnormal Security
What do you like best about the product?
Fast API based integration with Exchange Online, quickly categorizes and moves junk email and phishing email where it needs to go. No separate email quarantine for users to visit and manage, very fast to setup!
What do you dislike about the product?
There is currently no features to wrap URLs in protection like SafeLinks, or explode and evaluate attachments like SafeAttachments
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Helping us protect Exchange Online mailboxes from spam and phishing email, in addition to alerting us and automatically remediating suspected compromised accounts. Saves me a lot of time where I don't as an administrator have to check separate spam quarantines and make judgement calls to release or delete emails. Is much much faster than Exchange's email searching functions

Phenomenal post delivery solution
What do you like best about the product?
Easy onboarding. Integrates smoothly with Microsoft and KnowBe4. I use the dashboard every day when I need to investigate. Their Search and Respond feature is one of my favorite go to hunting email tools. Their backend spam and phishing policies work extremely well and have saved our users several times over. Fantastic customer support, have had several very productive meeting with our client success manager. Reporting mailbox provides a simple setup for automated analysis. Great all around product.
What do you dislike about the product?
Cannot add bulk allow/block lists. Search and Respond does not tie into the automated system and provide a corrective action for false negatives, unnecesarrily increases risk.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Post delivery email solution. Fits right in with M365. Little micromanagement gives admins the free time to do other things. A huge relief.
Simple to implement and very effective

One of the most helpful aspects of their technology is its ability to detect and block sophisticated, targeted attacks that might otherwise evade traditional security solutions
What do you dislike about the product?
It doesn't remove as many spam messages as I would like.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It takes care of most of our BEC type emails as well as the majority of Phishing emails.
Fewer Emails = Happier
What do you like best about the product?
Security! Implementing Abnormal has saved our team hours on reviewing emails that could potentially be harmful. Having Abnormal filter these out helps us sleep at night.
What do you dislike about the product?
Someone asked me a similar question recently. The only thing I could think of was the name of the company, "Abnormal". There is nothing about the crew that is "abnormal". Great company, great people, nothing Abnormal!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are using Abnormal Security for our emails. We have our emails sent to Abnormal for review. They then submit tickets for us to review specific emails. It has saved used loads of time.
Automated our Security Posture
What do you like best about the product?
Abnormal has completely automated our security posture with the addition of the abuse-mailbox feature addon combined with the core product. The entire lifecycle of a phish campaign/message is handled with Abnormal. I now spend little time managing phish threats because abnormal does it all!

What do you dislike about the product?
I wish I had more control over being able to manually move messages around mailboxes that are not necessarily threats. Other native solutions build into O365 are not as intuitive and take more time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We deal heavily with the supply chain, and many vendors and suppliers are not using DMARC. Abnormal has reduced the attack vector to our organization from other companies because they refuse to implement more security policies.
Effortlessly and dramatically improved our email security
What do you like best about the product?
In the first month it found and blocked an attack that otherwise very likely would have been successful.
What do you dislike about the product?
This is not really a complaint, but it would be wonderful if there could be some way to build a workflow around end users spotting and reporting our phishing simulations.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our email security is significantly better now. Thank you is really all I can say.
Great product with low barrier to entry.
What do you like best about the product?
Efficacy of solution, paired with low barrier to entry make this a great product for any team that is challenged with doing more with less personell. This product makes it easy.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes I forget to check on things because I am not hearing from the business users anymore about the threats they are receiving. There are few false positives but you do have to stay on top of checking for them.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Business email compromise was the most prevalent problem for us to solve with the tool. Phishing was the second most important problem for us to solve. after that spam.
We got our weekends back! Abnormal FTW!

The fact that Abnormal has given us our weekends back is amazing. We spent so much time dealing with email attacks and phishing/junk/spam emails to all of our users, specifically our high profiles users.

We really haven't found too many things that we don't like.

Using Abnormal Security to Automate Responding to Suspicious Email Reports
What do you like best about the product?
The system requires little configuration and management giving us more time to focus on other items.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is nothing we dislike about the product.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It has added a 3rd layer to our email defenses that has shutdown the display name spoofing that was plaguing our school district.
Best email security out there
What do you like best about the product?
The ease iof use of the platform and the detail received when reviewing threats. The emails sent notifying us a potentail maliciopus email has been resolved are a game changer

I wish search and respond portion was a little faster

We are bombarded by lots of attacks and this platform allows us to at least cut back on the user seeing and clicking on malicious links. We are solving the people problem when it comes to malicious emails. Removing them before the user has a chance to click
