Great easy to use analytics platform
What do you like best about the product?
SDKs are easy to use, the UI is pleasant looking and easy to use. Love the free start plan, makes it a great fit for personal projects.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish the app had a dark mode, other than that no real complaints from the offerings that I have used.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I'm using Posthog on personal projects, and it's a great fit for feature flagging + event tracking. I won't likely pay for it personally (small scale) but would absolutely recommend to an organization I work for.
Amazing Product
What do you like best about the product?
I like the ability to view in real-time how my customers interact with my website.
What do you dislike about the product?
So far there is nothing that I dislike about Posthog. The majority of the time, I use the funnel & trends tool. Both are phenomenal for understanding how to improve my site.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Posthog allows me to analyze and understand key customer funnels. Posthog allowed me to understand exactly what steps of the checkout process some of my customers were abandoning their carts.
It's a an easy to use tool and very usefull.

I can get in-depth reports and get our VIP customer data too.
What do you dislike about the product?
I can only put one breakdown at a time in my report, that was a setback.

Our solving cohort data storage issue.

What do you like best about the product?
The data queries are fast and we are able to generate good results and dashboards as per our requirements.
The only problem sometimes happens that when we try to add multiple filters and long date range data it sometimes takes time to load data and the worst happens when it just gives up and the system stops giving data and times out.

What do you dislike about the product?
Query run Auto start while the user is still setting up all the required. This is too much frustrating.
While I am just setting up all the filters it auto-starts the run. I am not sure why this feature was added and what would be the advantage.
But it would have been great if there was a button "Run" and once the user is done peacefully adding all the filters user could just press run and then the query would start fetching the data as per the required filters set

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Quick data analysis where we do no need to write custom SQL queries. Earlier we were using some other partner for data analysis where there were limitations and after an extent, we had to write our custom SQL query. With Posthog anyone with no to less knowledge of SQL can also get the required data without needing help from anyone technically
Posthogs serves all of our product analytics needs. We have no need for other services.
What do you like best about the product?
Analytics and video recording segmented by accounts and users.
What do you dislike about the product?
Recording buffering can be slow at times. I'm sure given the speed of their development they'll fix this soon.

Analyzing product usage through data and recordings. It's removing the mystery behind adoption.
Amazing, feature rich analytics suite
What do you like best about the product?
I like that PostHog allows me to see exactly who's viewing my website, when they viewed it and what they did. It even shows me a recording of what they did and what the clicked. I find this is much more than what similar services offer.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find that PostHogs pricing is sometimes unpredictable, as it's usage based. This makes predicting your monthly bill quite challenging if you have fluctuating billing. I would like to see plans from PostHog.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
PostHog is solving a wealth of problems in my organisation. One of these problems is that I found it hard to identify difficult parts of our onboarding flow, but with PostHog's funnels, I can easily see where users dropped off.

Can't aggregate multiple subdomain data using wildcards.

Releasing parts of new features and hiding them from production user until ready.
Really easy to use but limited data analysis functionality

It's easy to use, cost-effective and video recordings are great. I really like the ability to creat and share insights with the company. Compared to other analytics tools it was a lot easier to understand.
What do you dislike about the product?
My biggest issue is that Posthog can only breakdown metrics with one field. This significantly reduces the insights that can be made from the data.

Enabling our company to obtain meaningful analytics so we can understand our customers and get insight to lead our product roadmap
Excellent product to record analytics data
What do you like best about the product?
PostHog is easy to install and provides a large number of features, such as heatmaps and session recording, out of the box. Support is responsive and informative. Previously I was paying for heat map and session recording features - but it all comes with PostHog for free.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are minimal video tutorials, but I understand why - it's hard to keep them updated.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
PostHog lets me see how my customers are using my software in near real time with the session recording features. I have used this to observe and subsequently fix bugs that customers have been dealing with but not reporting.
Complete solution for evaluating user experience
What do you like best about the product?
The best thing about PostHog is how complete the solution is, with an excellent UI design. It is fascinating how they combined several tools into one without a cluttered interface.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are not many downsides to PostHog compared to other solutions. One thing I think can be improved is the data insights screen. Combining multiple insights into one graph could be more accessible for comparison reasons.

PostHog is helping us analyze how our users use the application and troubleshoot bugs by analyzing the frequency of behaviors. We feel more productive with PostHog.
