What do you like best about the product?
It's wide array of tools to use to track user behaviour
What do you dislike about the product?
Lack of product tour, lack of step guide. Unfriendly to non-coders

Funelling to see how users land or miss each page

What do you like best about the product?
Posthog provides so many useful tools for measuring and testing features and user acquisition behavior - it would have taken ages to build half of what is provided out of the box!
What do you dislike about the product?
The sheer volume of features available in PostHog can be overwhelming, sometimes making it feel like I'm not using everything as well as I could be. Thankfully their support team is super helpful, and documentation is available for everything they make.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Session replay lets us see where user journeys get confusing or intimidating, and A/B testing lets us experiment with changes to see what will land well with our customers. We use analytics all over the place to track growth, which helps us measure and track our targets.
New to posthog, but really like it so far.
What do you like best about the product?
It's detailed analytics system that's powerful and not as difficult or complex as it initially seemed like it might have been. It will show more insights than other tools like plausible would, and the session recording will be very useful for client projectsl
What do you dislike about the product?
The lack of youtube videos is probably my biggest critique. I think explaining how to capture custom events with JavaScript would be useful. Also setting up a proxy for the tracking script would be useful to see done through cloudflare.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It will hopefully allow me to add A/B testing to the list of services that my Webflow development studio offers to clients, allowing us to not only create a good design but deliver on the analytics / data front as well.
Powerfull tool for products
What do you like best about the product?
There are many different types of events to work with. We can create reports with this data easily
It's simple to send custom events and create funnels. The user interface is friendly

What do you dislike about the product?
I miss a visual editor (like google optimize) for ab tests and experiments. Some platforms (like hubspot and webflow) are easier to apply ab tests using visual editor
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have a small business and Posthog plan help us to start our site with funnels , A/B tests and to know how customer are interacting with our site

What do you like best about the product?
It's very intuitive and user-friendly. Clean design and great for beginners.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have not noticed any downsides so far.

It's helping me track analytics for me and my clients to know what problems need to be resolved.
Testing out PostHog
What do you like best about the product?
I like how really simple it is to interact with PostHog's APIs.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like how there isn't a lot of support for the Java SDK.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's allowing me to easily A/B test.
Pretty easy to integrate
What do you like best about the product?
The whole PostHog onboarding process is pretty seamless. Great for startups that want to "just integrate analytics and forget about it" until later stages.
What do you dislike about the product?
The React SDK / library didn't really work for my workflow (serving static files), so I just defaulted back to the vanilla JS library.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Understanding user behavior on the dashboard.
All-things Product Analytics
What do you like best about the product?
One of the standout features of PostHog is its session replay functionality - to visualize and analyze how users interact with your website or application by recording and playing back their sessions. Custom dashboard feature - to track and analyze key metrics and events. Events of user activities - to gain an understanding of user engagement, conversion funnels, and feature adoption.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing comes to mind; PostHog does the job perfectly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Getting quantitative metrics during building is crucial; PostHog does it perfectly and helps map them to the qualitative metrics that we collect from user interviews and R&D.
Session Replays are great!
What do you like best about the product?
Session Replays! I haven't used many features besides that yet. I think it offers the lowest barriers to entry (i.e. minimal configuration).
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing yet. I've found it intuitive and feature-rich.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I get to see how users actually use my app, which lets me continuously improve the user experience.
Easy API, great free plan, nice analytics
What do you like best about the product?
The integration was very straightforward. It took minutes to replace our Google analytics system and get better fibroids out of the data. I'm especially happy with the easy splitting between environments, even local
What do you dislike about the product?
The name of the product is awful. I hate saying it to my co founder. The defaults on data collection are a pii nightmare. We had to manually turn everything off after a quick audit. I know we could self host, but tracking all of that data by default is dangerous.
