Good framework but weak feature flags for mobile
What do you like best about the product?
Analytics feature is quite powerful, nice.

I need posthog for feature flag on mobile but it's too weak compared to firebase.

The best thing I like about PostHog is their user friendly UI, it's so easy to get started on their platform.
It took me 5mins at max to get everytihing setup with my iOS app

What do you dislike about the product?
One downside of Posthog is that, they don't have the option to view user's session replay in realtime.
I have used Highlight.io in past, and they do have that feature, we can litreally see user clicks and their screen in realtime.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Posthog helps us find the causes of weird and unexpected bugs that our users report.
Very Beginner Friendly
What do you like best about the product?
The fact that I can get it up and running in minutes. It's very user friendly and I never once felt intimidated. We had it set up in under an hour.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing as of now. I would like some more support if possible on recommended events to use for their template dashboards.

PostHog is solving the problem of lack of visibility on how our users use our product. With PostHog, we are able to see a detailed analysis of what our users are doing and what we need to be working on.

The generous free tier with straightforward pricing is extremely easy to create adoption and sell the tool internally

Not a lot yet, groups should be a default feature;
Filtering on shared dashboards would also be a requirement instead of having to speak to sales.

Allows us to track product usage while also easily sharing usage metrics with our clients; helps with clarity on usage based pricing;

What do you like best about the product?
Posthog offers all the good things you need building a SaaS: analytics, recordings, feature flags and more. Recordings are very useful for me as I am building a 0 to 1 product.
What do you dislike about the product?
Documentation is often the place where companies need improvement, so I'd suggest always improving that (but I don't see this as a "dislike" right now)

Recording is often expensive and their price model is very generous

Cross-domain tracking with alias / identify can get confusing because the only way to really 'merge' accounts is using merge_dangerously

What do you like best about the product?
I've heard about the tool on YouTube, and by this point, I have used it for my personal website and my client. It offers all the things you'd expect from an analytics tool. Session recordings, user data, and a pleasant UI while being regulations compliant.
What do you dislike about the product?
I'd suggest adding this feature: the ability to filter session replays based on the country. I wasn't able to find it the last time I was looking for something like this.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The tool covers all my analytics needs, and I can see how users interact with my websites. Their free tier is also very generous.
Well-structured - I'm a wedding photographer and I managed to use it!
What do you like best about the product?
As I mentioned, I'm not in IT or some field related. I managed to install PostHog on my starkovsky.ro website pretty fast, without any help and I could make sense of the visits instantly. Lou-and-behold, within minutes I had people using my website from Cluj and some other cities - which I didn't even know that they used it.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing, really. I'd say it's weird that it's free... but I heard it's open-source so props to the org.

I can now track my website visitors, see what they look at and improve my portfolio.
