What do you like best about the product?
Posthog understand what you need from usage analytics and feature flags. Every thing I need for getting their suite of tools implemented into my Next.js project was a breeze. I barely had to think to get it integrated and working. Its a tool I keep coming back to and if I need support their wiki is FULL of great info on how to do what you want.
What do you dislike about the product?
I can't get a REAL hedgehog on my desk. I haven't come across something it did poorly or I couldn't do so as it stands there is nothing I dislike about Posthog. When I am setting up new projects, using Posthog is a no-brainer
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We need feature flags, easily and ASAP for our greenfield solution. Posthog was something I'd seen used previously and gave it a shot in a Next.js project. Their docs had everything and got feature flags into our solution in under an hour, this really makes developing new features behind flags a BREEZE. Which means we can deploy smaller changes without worrying about user getting incomplete features

What do you like best about the product?
Feel like there is still a lot to explore but I cane to posthog because of session replay feature and I'm going to stay just for that for a very long time.

nothing to complain so far, I like everything In have seen so far

live session replays helps me to see how users interact with my product and what are their pain points

My experience setting up and getting posthog going was great: up to date documentation, straight forward api and default configuration already setup for direct results.
What do you dislike about the product?
Still early in my use of posthog and new to web analytics but I have feeling I will be wanting for more control and customization.

Understands individual user experience of our product, identify issues early and track global trends
Delightful experience and it works much better than Fullstory

What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing! We use posthog alongside with Fullstory and it works much better in most of the cases.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use PostHog to analyze how my users are using the app, also to troubleshoot when they face issues.
I used posthog on multiple project and i recommend to use it

I think the filter UX in insight, it can be complicated sometimes

although its easier than some competitors, theres obviously still work involved to get the tool set up initially with reports

Free plans are generous. Sense of humor on the site is icing on the cake. Implementation and Integration is super easy.

Not much to dislike. But sometimes it feels like a cluttered experience. So much is going on under tabs and sub-tabs

Our code is cpu intensive. Using posthog session replays exactly helps us understand the use cases which spike the cpus and how much time users spend to get the results. Helps us understand user behavior and our server behavior as well.

The auto-capture functionality has been a huge time-saver, and implementing custom events was straightforward.
Integration with Slack was fast and makes error tracking easy, especially when paired with custom captures.

What do you dislike about the product?
The only area I found a bit confusing was around cookie usage—I’d really appreciate more detailed documentation or a tutorial to better understand how to implement and manage that part effectively.

We are able to check real usage of our app, and which specific features are the most important to our clients, which allows us to find in which direction we should continue to grow
Easiest analytics setup experience
What do you like best about the product?
It's incredibly easy to integrate and setup using their AI wizard, comes with everything you'd need in terms of product analytics and understanding your users. Dashboard is easy to use and to create new data visualizations. I use it daily for viewing custom event metrics and session recordings.
What do you dislike about the product?
Poor experience on mobile, hard to get to see any meaningful info on smaller devices. Feels slow sometimes when computing large amounts of data

Understanding user behaviour, being able to track large amounts of events for a low cost. Quickly and easily being able to chart that data with amazing flexibility

Setting up posthog was super easy, the dashboard is very powerful and easy to use.
What do you like best about the product?
First, the pricing being this generous for small businesses is a plus.
The dashboard, is surprisingly intuitive and powerful, switching projects check analytics, setting up feedback campaigns is just a click away.

What do you dislike about the product?
I was confused by exposing the api keys in the application main entry point, I couldn't find significant documentation about the api key scope, because I took some extra measures to secure that information, and therefore I was surprised when I was supposed to add them to the main html file thereafter.
For some reason the feedback widgets in the application keep appearing and disappearing in some browsers, and I could not find a proper way to make them work nor a straight-forward way to debug it.
Lastly, I set up the reverse proxy as documented, but the check didn't respond to the change nor I was able to check it in the quick start guide.
