Best 3d software for die segment
What do you like best about the product?
It is very useful for die part making industry, it solves many doubt automatically and save times.
What do you dislike about the product?
It requires some basic knowledge regarding how to use features.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are solving problems regarding die of casting or bending parts. It gives real time solution with some basic skills.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I recommend to use for die making of parts, it is very useful and fruitful.

What do you like best about the product?
It is a reliable competitor to SolidWorks; both have similar functionalities in comparison, but solid edge beats it in some areas and functions like frame analysis and surface modeling.
What do you dislike about the product?
In context, graphical view and menu-driven are suitable for end-user, but it's challenging to use and work a fresher due to its complex interface to work required proficiency.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Excellent in frame analysis and done many ground support equipment structural analysis and modeling.Due to its functionality and file system or structure used for complex wind towers-lattice section modeling.

What do you like best about the product?
Solid edge is a designing software and you will get all solutions of design at one place and that is solid edge Genrally I'm using this for 3D modeling,CAD,CAM,drafting and 3D printing in automotive industry.
User interface is so simple and excellent even for new user its good to learn easily.Advance
Features like skeleton modeling ,key mapping ,sheet metal modeling ,Surfacing,math cad,flexible modeling is very useful and time saver in designing and will get more accurate and scientific results.

What do you dislike about the product?
Advance feature like Surfacing, Skelton modeling and sheet metal are very complex in use.
For this advance system required,in laptops lagging occurs.

I'm using solid edge for modeling of automotive components and the advance features surface modeling,sheet metal is very useful.it helps to do work efficiently and quickly.

Faster & easier changes to parts and the assemblies. A feature can be easily moved, resized etc. Effective tools to work with parts and assemblies. Good performance with larger assemblies.

The user interface isn't quite as intuitive. Threads on screws are an image rather than modeled. Textures don't look real

Part Design, 2D drafting for drawing preparation, Design modification for VA/VE, cost reduction ideas, etc.

The easy to use interface makes software highly accessible to beginners and the way you can configure your tabs makes it the best versatile option for CAD enthusiasts.

Nothing to Dislike about however there should be some certification and training which should be made part of the software package ...!

Using command flash fit within a second you can do assembly of your model

Relationships constraints with matching part and animation is not good

I am using every day for uaing winding machine assembly and its so i can use for collision detection analysis and rander tge object so i can easily check the for assembly problem.

Its is less expensive tham solid works if you are not generally use animation and Mess command so you can use it
Solid edge is very easy software for learning, because tools are easy to found on task bar

In that for drafting we can easily apply the GD & T representation on complicated drawing

For surfacing apply trim/ split tool is headache...

Very simple and eco-friendly interface. Communication between user and the software is very easy

Sheet metal drafting and providing allowances can be simplified.

Hydraulic test and pressure test of pressure vessel helped me of optimization of materials and cost savings.
