What do you like best about the product?
Control and accessibility of data. Ability to manage configuration and BOMs thru the engineering to manufacturing processes.
What do you dislike about the product?
The rich client was very difficult to navigate (when I was a consumer), and I cannot speak to AWS. The portfolio is very broad and often seems disconnected/fragmented.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Many customers have very little control of their data. Files are stored in Windows Explorer folders, BOMs are managed outside of NX/Teamcenter, oftentimes in MS Excel. Zero associativity to downstream functions in planning and manufacturing. Teamcenter puts controls and processes in place to allow for speed of processing data, reduction in errors, higher degrees of awareness/communication.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
For organizations that do not currently use Teamcenter, focus on the basics of controlling engineering data with high degrees of out-of-the-box functionality. Do not try to customize. Once engineering data has been controlled, then expansion of capabilities can be explored.

flexibility and option in Teamcenter for the customer, next-generation technology very futuristic in Teamcenter, we promote in our area, the customer also likes the product.
What do you dislike about the product?
Teamcenter product and customisation cost is very high so we lose competition against PTC and Dussolt PLM , make product bundle essay so we sale in big quantity

Teamcenter solve customer data management problem, design data to manage properly as per their workflow with design revision , yes increase our business are and performance with the presence

Its high configurability can adapt it to evrey business need

Pricing by named user becomes too expensive

Data management, change management. Full control and traceability, shorter time to market

What do you like best about the product?
I like the single point of truth for technical data.
What do you dislike about the product?
It can be a little clunky at times, and when there are problems with workflow it isn't clear what the problem is.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Benefits are that it locks down technical data and allows other users to view it.

What do you like best about the product?
I like the ability to keep and search all data in one place with all of the integrations across engineering and business processes and workflows. The active workspace is exciting and looking forward to using it more.
What do you dislike about the product?
It is a very large system and figuring our what intigrations and custumization were needed befor having expierence using it was a challange. Still determining if we got it right or wil need to adjust.

process control and management, document control and management, standardization of our workflows, virtualization and quick access to models and graphics for display and idation

Revision control is the most helpful aspect of TC.

Can be complicated for new users to start using

Controlling revisions around our global sites and making sure each site uses standard processes.
Enterprise PLM for Everyone
What do you like best about the product?
Teamcenter is enterprise PLM for everyone - Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, Supplier/Vendor/OEM integration and much more. Teamcenter makes it easy to collaborate across the engineering and supply chain.
What do you dislike about the product?
TC Rich Application Client is cumbersome and dated.

CAD data management, change management, supplier collaboration.
Super PLM App - Teamcenter
What do you like best about the product?
Configurability, completeness and easy of understanding drives quicker and adoption of the enterprise application. Teamcenter is easy to integrate with other enterprise apps ecosystem

Customizations come in the way of upgrading the system. Keeping it out of the box with minimum customization and mostly configurations helps tremendously.........

Use TC as our PLM application for about 1000 users. RAC and AWC
What do you like best about the product?
I like having all the data in one place, including previous revisions. Security can be setup where some can edit, some can see/downloads, and others can be restricted from seeing specific things. Like direct integration with NX.
What do you dislike about the product?
The RAC client can be clunky and overwhelming for users, but AWC isn't fully featured yet. I wish AWC tiles had a smaller tile size option. Learning Advantage videos can be very monotone.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have seen a benefit with Change Orders, allowing parallel, versus serial, manufacturing approvals, hence speeding up the overall change process. As a global company, we are solving the "all regions can collaborate together"
