Teamcenter is a great Product Life cycle Management tool with great compatibility with Solid Edge
What do you like best about the product?
In Teamcenter we can collaborate all the work and all the systems with one server system that is very helpful for accessing any data at any time and with great integration with other applications like Solid Edge we can directly work with 3D assemblies and part managements.
What do you dislike about the product?
Teamcenter is a huge platform and with huge integrations there comes errors that might hinder the process for several time. I think Siemens should make a streamlined process for Team center for easy access.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Team center provides greater data management as well as it provides life cycle management tools that is very helpful in improvement of certain processes and also increases the productivity of the work.

Good intigration with NX. I will very strongly recommend this for design and procurement

Product Lifecycle Management is the key purpose of this software.
Product Lifecycle Management is simplified, product development is excellent.
No matter it is upstream or downstream development it exceeds your expectations in every application.

What do you like best about the product?
Searching and getting data for parts and assembly is easy for clint and user and become the easy to swipe to other plateform. Team work can be distributed with all across and can managed by team leader.
What do you dislike about the product?
On other plateform it is not connected very well as like creo. It also become complicated to connect with video conferencing. Sometimes it becomes illogical to clint to make him come on this plateform

Part and assembly are very easy to get and work and whole assembly can be download and selected parts can be worked and drowning sheets are great to work on and edit.

It is very user friendly software providing complete control on product data and process. BOM Management, Document management are the great features of this product
What do you dislike about the product?
There is nothing as such which I dislike about teamcenter. However there are lot of features in the software to explore which needs more time to get used to as there are very less tutorials on them.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Teamcentre helped in reducing the manual effort and cost. It helps to bring all CAD data into a single product data management environment. It helped to increase the productivity

What do you like best about the product?
Huge customisation possibility, well working with external CAD tools like Catia V5, nice out of the box solutions like the mass update. The system is working well even with a huge amount of data and also with large CAD models
What do you dislike about the product?
Some solutions are not user-friendly - ex. the 'named references' to download the file. There are a lot of cases with customisations that need to be fixed with the data model update - it takes too much time.
The documentation centre from Siemens is huge, but in a lot of cases we miss knowledge about the possible solutions.
The licensing approach is not bad but GTAC is not working - the maintenance in compare to the help is way to expensive.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's taking main field of data management and change management - it helps to control the data modification process, collects KPI. It is also a main database for CAD, what is saving a lot of time and avoiding missunderstandings.

Easy to search the parts and related documents, well managed in different nodes.

User interface can be more better with more shortcuts available.

Teamcenter is a must in your automotive business
What do you like best about the product?
It's a great solution for product data and Product Lifecycle Management processes. Change Management for example, everything is controlled and stable, processes are just great to do. One of the most important thing is that TC is integrated with CAD, what makes the product a must to use in automotive companies.
What do you dislike about the product?
One of the things that make my company doesn't use it as we should use is the cost of Modules: for example cost of mfg module. Even if I feel that it's really important to implement such module, high management see costs, and that makes me sad.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Processes must be controlled and stable. And that's what TC does. Another thing, as I mentioned before: CAD Integration, so data are transparent and visible to anyone. During the audits, we can easily show every changes we made on a specific product, including revision history and change management processes in a very easy way.

Perfect data management system where we can secure the data which is related to automotive parts where currently I'm working yes there many competitor are there in market
