What do you like best about the product?
The connection between the products is very good, forming a set of applications that, both in theory and in practice, make the entire design and engineering process more efficient.
What do you dislike about the product?
At the beginning, it can be difficult to master. Those who use it sporadically, like once or twice a week, often have trouble remembering the navigation, which makes it difficult for them to handle it smoothly until they gain more experience.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are centralizing the management of our design data into a single system that allows us to work in a coordinated manner worldwide. This facilitates access, control, and updating of information from anywhere, improving collaboration and efficiency among globally distributed teams.
Being "extremely complete" has its advantages and disadvantages.
What do you like best about the product?
Being the "backbone" of the data facilitates integration and provides a complete view of the process, but it also creates dependency. If something fails, it can affect the entire system, and being so complex, it can generate overload problems or bottlenecks.
What do you dislike about the product?
If something fails, it can affect the entire system.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Currently, process planning is done with Excel, but with Teamcenter we aim to integrate everything, from the EBOM to complete planning, including simulation and generation of files for production.
TcX has simple system updates
What do you like best about the product?
Updates are run on Siemens' cloud server. Minimal effort, only the client needs to be adjusted. Easy access from anywhere, without VPN.
What do you dislike about the product?
Testing of the processes on the customer, for that purpose progressive further development.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Not enough IT service and server infrastructure. X products help with that.
Offers robust integrations and comprehensive document management
What is our primary use case?
We performed implementations of Siemens PLM TeamCenter for different customers including GE, BMW, and a customer in China. Each customer had different use cases, and I was part of the implementation team.
What is most valuable?
Siemens PLM TeamCenter has been my favorite product after using it for the last 10 years. It has many excellent features such as managing documents, parts, and designs.
Regarding integration, I generally prefer to use OOTB integration, and Siemens PLM TeamCenter provides numerous OOTB integrations with CAD applications and SAP tools, making it a comprehensive end-to-end product.
They have the TeamCenter Visualization tool, which is a separate tool with strong integration capabilities to help with markup and reviewing design models. The TC viewer is also an excellent product as a separate module of Siemens PLM TeamCenter.
What needs improvement?
Currently everyone is looking for cloud-based products, and while they have TeamCenter X, I think it has not yet matured. They can focus on making it more mature and introduce some AI elements.

I have witnessed its stability for the last 10 to 12 years.
What was my experience with deployment of the solution?
The initial setup was straightforward because it was easy to have a good configuration. I would say it was a positive experience rather than difficult.

It is definitely scalable.

I would rate technical support from Siemens PLM TeamCenter as eight on a scale from 1 to 10.

How was the initial setup?
The initial setup was not difficult because it was easy to have a good configuration. I would say it was a positive experience rather than difficult.
What about the implementation team?
I work with multiple companies including IBM, TCS, and at that time, we were working as a partner with Siemens PLM TeamCenter.
What's my experience with pricing, setup cost, and licensing?
The price always depends and varies based on the relationship as I work for multiple vendors. I would say product-wise, the price is good and among the best.
What other advice do I have?
In a confidential way, I do not want to expose my company and my name. I rate Siemens PLM TeamCenter a perfect 10 out of 10.

The ability to configure for use, a variety of tools, spanning across the NPI cycle, and connectors available.
What do you dislike about the product?
Documentation, information to learn, and best practices are too vague, making it harder to make the most of it. Provide product knowledge to your partners as well.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Being the digital backbone for my client that currently uses TCE.
Has good features for data management, but its setup process needs improvement
What is our primary use case?
We use the Siemens PLM TeamCenter for global group CRM. They have R&D centers in Korea, India, and Germany, and they collaborate on all aspects of the project.
What is most valuable?
The product's most valuable features are patch and data management.
What needs improvement?
The product's web interface and setup process could be better. Also, scalability and stability need to be improved. It could be easier to customize as well.

I have been using Siemens PLM TeamCenter for over three years.

We have around 80 Siemens PLM TeamCenter customers. They are all medium-level enterprises. I rate its scalability a seven out of ten.

I rate Siemens PLM TeamCenter an eight on pricing. It is costly for small businesses.
What other advice do I have?
I recommend small businesses to go for another product. Teamcenter is suitable for large companies. Overall, I rate it a seven out of ten.

What do you like best about the product?
The ease of configurability and applicability across diverse processes, good connectivity and collaboration between various processes, flexibility in customization process
What do you dislike about the product?
A rigid user interface and installations are difficult, there is less support for developer queries, and the structure is complex, making it less developer-friendly and requiring intense training.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Solving: process management worries, and simplicity in data maintenance of big firms, from ideation to launch to market withdrawal is a complete package for product management. Benefits: Reduced lead time, Improved connectivity between domains, faster approvals over changes

What do you like best about the product?
Let it be a unified platform for inquiries from different departments, including materials, costs, processes, among others, and also for supplier management.
What do you dislike about the product?
The cost and implementation times can be a problem depending on the partner you work with. Define the scope and processes in detail to achieve a successful implementation.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Being able to integrate the technical office with the administration department and the ERP is undoubtedly a benefit that allows for collaborative and real-time work.

I like everything so far, I need to get to know the tool better, but so far I am satisfied with its features and it manages to deliver everything it promises with ease.

Teamcenter is the leading PLM solution
What do you like best about the product?
Collaborative work in real-time, all in one tool to work and share among departments, clients, and suppliers with integration to ERP systems, etc.
What do you dislike about the product?
I believe that Teamcenter X is an ideal solution, but the data transfer costs represent a high expense that I think can be avoided to make the offer more attractive to customers.

Teamcenter allows me to manage projects with tools for requirements management, Gantt charts, statuses, tasks, teams, designs with their respective statuses, reviews, and associated documentation.
