best video hosting provider
What do you like best about the product?
I've tried a bunch of video hosting platforms, and Gumlet is hands-down one of the best. It's super easy to use, even for someone like me who isn't a tech whiz. I love how I can organize my videos into collections and folders, and the dashboard is really intuitive. The video quality is fantastic – it loads quickly and plays smoothly, way better than some others I've used (cough, BunnyStream, cough). Plus, they have some really cool features like custom CNAME for branding, DRM, and dynamic watermarks, which is great for protecting my content. Whether you're hosting online courses, marketing videos, or just need a reliable way to stream video, I'd definitely recommend checking out Gumlet. It's been a game-changer for me.

What do you like best about the product?
Gumlet is great for having premium video hosting like YouTube, but without ads or video suggestions at the end of the video.
For me, it was important to have chapters, subtitles, and CTA for a modern premium look and feel, but also to have some DRM protection to avoid having my videos reuploaded somewhere else. With Gumlet I have it all.

It would be great to have some more options to customize the video player's look and feel to match my corporate design. (Rounded vs edgy play button etc.)

What do you like best about the product?
Gumlet provides the best video protection for your educational videos. I am a course creator and I want to protect my videos. It has been the best feature to protect your videos. Gumlet also provides customized branding options in the video player. So you can get all your videos with branding and grow your business. The best part of the software is DRM protection, and it will be very useful for content creators.
What do you dislike about the product?
The bandwidth limitation they provide is on a monthly basis. Because if I have uploaded 25+ videos, my video size goes over 3 GB. When my students start watching the course, the entire monthly bandwidth will end within 10 to 15 days. These things will be improved.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
They are protecting your premium video content from those who would download it and sell it to others who do not have access to the course, sharing our resources with free users.

To be fair coming from Vimeo, the pricing. Without loosing much on features.
Also having actual representatives that can lead you through hurdles and questions is very rare for these type of tools, so major props to the "support" team for being a there and being understanding!

Coming from Vimeo that is video based instead of minutes for Gumlet.

Problem: a to expensive Vimeo subscription for a small business that likes to deliver enterprise quality.

What do you like best about the product?
I deviced to buy Gumlet video beacause i have seen many established companies use it for image hosting. My requirement was to setup VIdeo Hosting for LMS system. Appsumo plan provided great cost benefit while achiving this goal. Dashboard is clean and neat. Documentation is avaialble for each and every topic. Video protection features like watermark are essential these days to protect videos. Domain based protection for embedding is another good thing.
What do you dislike about the product?
Regular pricing for Gumlet is very high and there is no support of DRM protection in lower variant subscriptions. This is big disappointment and forces customer to buy higher priced version. But many content creaters need to protect small amount of videos with DRM, so it is not suitable for this use case.

I was looking for an affordable video hosting platform for my e-learning website and this tool is awesome for my usecase.

Two words: FAST and EASY! What else could you want?
What do you like best about the product?
I like the ability to embed videos almost anywhere and have them load instantaneously. It's great for VSLs and intro videos on your home pages or other landing page, especially if you're going to send ad traffic since speed is an important factor for conversions.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would have liked some free custom domains included and maybe a little bit more storage, but it's pretty fair-priced to add custom domains. Storage is also fairly inexpensive if I need more - so far I've barely used what's included. Overall fantastic tool and true Vimeo competitor.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
A reliable, fast way of hosting all of my videos. For me, speed and reliability are crucial as I need to make sure to leave a good first impression for clients and I also don't want to chase broken links. Furthermore, client videos should be delivered with the same care.
