What do you like best about the product?
The policy-based functionality lets me customize exactly who or what gets in.
What do you dislike about the product?
The robust functionality can sometimes over complicate a simple task.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Phishing Impersonations are now a thing of the past for our organization. I sleep peacefully knowing that Mimecast is on the frontlines of our email security.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Take advantage of the implementation process and ask the Mimecast specialist(s) any questions you have, they are extremely knowledgeable and willing to help your individual organization succeed with Mimecast.

What do you like best about the product?
Mimecast has provided our organization with a good tool to help with the email security and Threat Protection. They have done a very good job in stopping and managing the threats even with the latest with COVID-19.
What do you dislike about the product?
I am a little disappointed with the continued new features and having to add additional licenses when you are already paying the maintenance fee for the product. I would think some of these should be added as features not necessarily a new module.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Email Security from the standpoint of spam filtering and virus threats. The solution has done a very good job with this. Threat protection has been very good, however with Phishing, while it has been good, there have been instances that items should have been caught, but weren't.

What do you like best about the product?
It does a really good job of blocking and protecting us before the bad stuff gets to us.
What do you dislike about the product?
Takes a time to get the policies setup and configured
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Minimizing the amount of bad stuff hitting our edge devices. Emails are scanned and policies are applied before getting to our network. This helps with processing only good stuff and minimizing resources used internally

What do you like best about the product?
Mimecast is an overall wonderful product and works just as intended. As this is a SaaS deal, it is simple and fast to build, as well as to configure and also the overall reliability is all that we expected. In addition, Mimecast has continued to innovate in order to improve our overall reliability, which is crucial to our role before the curve.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only thing I had with Mimecast was that it isn't the easiest to access administrative console and it's typically sluggish. While it's very easy to use the end consumer facing elements and there's also not much awareness, the administrative interface seems to be designed by designers with fewer end user perspectives. Moreover, browsing is much slower than other sites.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Improve the productivity between the employees, organized email flow - several of our staff leave their email directly, and it is necessary to maintain it as filtered as general safety as possible. Fewer junk mail streaming without any appropriate checks. Many viruses as well as malware and ransomware attacks can be eradicated by email and by Mimecast!
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I tend to have a really good overall experience. The amount of spam that reaches our company has decreased considerably.

What do you like best about the product?
Mimecast is extremely beneficial to our business, thanks to functionality that enable us to defend ourselves more effectively against ever-changing e-mail threats than conventional anti-spam services. I abide by URL filtering, spam security and sandblaster apps, and if Office365 faces a big usability problem, this is a great opportunity to keep sending emails and I think you can easily find details in Mimecast's troubleshooting documentation and track your email flow.
What do you dislike about the product?
The price is high, and every update seems to make things worse. This new functionality will be introduced as a stand-alone inventory management unit and not as an enhancement to the current product. This can be irritating, as the new boss thinks like they are continually changing.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Capacity to clearly identify phishing scams, respond to threats, and correct users who click phishing connections. When I first set up the software, I got a lot of false positives, but after a few weeks of using it, I think it began to decrease, and then I started getting emails that the system thought were fair.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Make sure that the price is set for a longer period of time and covers potential product changes.

Nothing, our users took some time to adopt the process but since then it's great

What do you like best about the product?
Able to stop 99% spam and phishing emails.
What do you dislike about the product?
The way the daily digest comes, should have better way notifying people something is held. I know there are plugins but time-consuming to go open your portal and plugin some time people forget.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Protecting end-users from spam

Make sure you make your user aware before implementing this solution perhaps send some instructions.

What do you like best about the product?
Amazing product, we've seen nearly 100% improvement with our email Phishing issues. The ability for our Users to manage their particular Inbox has freed up my administrators to focus other issues. I can't believe how we did business in the past, this product is a game changer for organization.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't dislike, but it's a very comprehensive product which requires attention to detail to fully utilize all the offerings this product supports. A dedicate Administrator would be ideal.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our overall security posture is more reliable, secure and trusted.

Granularity in rule making for email management
What do you dislike about the product?
Their support system. I cannot see the complete history of my support ticket data.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Spam management using O365 is hard to manage and is not effective enough for us. Mimecast makes it easy for admins and end users.
