What do you like best about the product?
Checkmk is versatile and can cover a wide range of use cases.

The UI is not always well-structured and intuitive.

Infrastructure is being monitored. You can clearly see the current status of a system.
The universal monitoring and operational safety
What do you like best about the product?
The flexibility of the application and the wide range of possibilities for use with the customer. Tekken Car, the optimal tool for ensuring operational events at the monitoring and security level.
What do you dislike about the product?
Currently, at most minor issues with migration
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Monitoring of network, traffic, open ports, and web applications. Ensure that security events are noticed in a timely manner in conjunction with security tools.
All-around good monitoring tool
What do you like best about the product?
I like the quick and easy overview of my systems. Every morning, I use Checkmk alongside my work as an admin for Checkmk to also check our systems. This usually takes a few minutes and gives me a quick overall view.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes I find the buttons for editing a bit confusing and need something to search for them. The GUI is not always consistent.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The simplicity of monitoring systems. Takes a lot of work off the daily business.

Services that can go to unknown cannot be categorized before they go to the status. For example, you can discard or not.

In my environment, CheckMK is successfully used for monitoring important infrastructures.

CheckMK works reliably and is easy to operate in the event of a critical error.

The setup can sometimes not be trivial, but it is done for me by the technical team.

We are responsible for the operation of the systems. During the day, errors are displayed on the dashboard, and at night, they are shown through an alert system.
Monitoring with checkmk is very easy and intuitive
What do you like best about the product?
The installation and updates are quite easy, even major updates are a fairly quick process. It is very easy to monitor all types of servers, whether with an agent or with SNMP, special agent, etc. There are many integrations with other tools that facilitate either the import of metrics (for example, Prometheus) or the export of metrics (for example, InfluxDB+Grafana).
What do you dislike about the product?
One thing I didn't like was that in version 2.2 the integration of Openshift was not included since it was only available for the cloud version. But I have seen that for 2.3 it will be available. I mention it simply so you know that we are currently on 2.2 and we cannot monitor our Openshift clusters and our client was a bit upset about it since it was announced (without nuances) that Openshift would be supported in version 2.2.
Just for custom graph, I think the graphs could be improved to be more visual like they are in Grafana and to be dynamic. For example, if you make a custom graph of the CPU of several servers, you can click on a server and it only shows its graph or click on several and it shows several.

With a single product, you can monitor practically the entire company's infrastructure. You can even have an updated inventory if you install the mk_inventory plugin.
