A very good opportunity to manage business processes and regulations
What do you like best about the product?
Powerful and flexible with many options. Good support from the manufacturer. Adjustments to your own needs are relatively easy to implement.
What do you dislike about the product?
Customer requirements for the product take a relatively long time to be incorporated into development.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We must make our employees aware of the binding regulations for our employees. We do this along the lines of business processes.

What do you like best about the product?
The best thing I found in Software AG ARIS is the simplicity of the tool and the large number of features provided for business process modeling. The ease to integrate it with other application soft wares such as the SAP has been the biggest advantage. The customer support has also been very great making the implementation process to be easy. With the help of ARIS, one can map and redesign the activities and it was a great benefit for us as it had increased the our effectiveness and minuses the mistakes in our procedures.
What do you dislike about the product?
The main problem in the usage of Software AG ARIS is the relatively high cost or acquisition and servicing. Some of the outstanding capabilities within the software might attract a very high price tag, which may not be easy on the finances. This has at times drawn funds away from other more important projects on the organization. Moreover, due to frequent updates, there may be issues of compatibility and this results in even system breakdowns and later the need to troubleshooting. These weaknesses have at times impounded our flow of work and enhanced the operating expenses.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Software AG ARIS is the key tool that can be used in order to control business processes and direct the work of an enterprise architecture. It helps in documenting, analysing, and improving different processes where users find worthwhile information and illustrations for increase processes efficiency. This helps in arriving at strategic business decisions, reduces costs, time and conflicts, and fosters teamwork which in turn, leads to improvement in organizational performance.

What do you like best about the product?
I like in ARIS that is very powerfull tool. It can support us in process managment, process optimization, corporate architecure managment and hopefully for workflow in near future.
What do you dislike about the product?
Definitly price. It's too high in comparison to other vendors. I dont like cloud approach. It seems that SAG runs cloud strategy and some functionalities are in cloud version only. It's not good. We as a client shoudl have a choice - cloud or not cloud.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
All processes and documents related to them described in 1 place.
ARIS is very Innovative and efficient BPM tool
What do you like best about the product?
Easily integratable to nearly all of the external systems. Integration of AI in Process mining is remarkable as we move forward and lean towards AI more and more in future. Customer Support is very freindly and supportive.
What do you dislike about the product?
A big preparation work and alignment of People and Process which takes a while to onboard.

Alignment of business process management.

I like it because it is a database where objects are interconnected.
Aris is a robust tool that has several interconnected databases, which makes it easier to manage risks, IT, changes, problems, etc. It also has easy-to-create custom reports.

Too many settings that make it too complicated.

WFPM Best in Class Tool
What do you like best about the product?
Simple, easy to use interface, great collaboration tools.
What do you dislike about the product?
Would be great to great probablity views in the EPC diagram
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Workflow Mapping, understanding current state and where issues are.
I am responsible for maintaining and supporting the platform, providing assistance to users.
What do you like best about the product?
I like the practicality of the controls more.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like the difficulty of any customizations involving sending notifications and changing the response pattern.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The company's problems in organizing internal processes within the respective roles of each actor in the process. With the analysis and drawings of the processes and the collaboration in updating these drawings, it brought quality in the understanding for decision-making for users.
TD's 1st impression using APM
What do you like best about the product?
Ease of use and simple & intuitive presentation of information. System is fluid and rendering of the model in APM is smooth.
What do you dislike about the product?
TD is experiencing issues with the upload functionality in APM. Both SAG and TD teams are investigating but this feature has created a lot of pain - with the performance of this feature being inconsistent.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Discovery of process variants and conformance checks to enable automation of processes to ultimately reduce costs, strengthen controls, and streamline processes.
Very good tool for Enterprise Architecture
What do you like best about the product?
ARIS gives us a lot of ease to model the institution's processes, at all levels and with the depth we need, it is very versatile.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is a lack of an option for help, inquiries, or F1 to explore functions, resolve doubts, both as a user and as an administrator.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are modeling institutional processes, helping areas to understand them better and identifying opportunities for improvement for their subsequent implementation.
