ARIS process mining
What do you like best about the product?
The simple drag and drop interface is quite easy to use for building process maps. They have easy import and export feature to use templates from other projects.
What do you dislike about the product?
The UI looks quite dates compared to peers such as MS.projects. They need to enhance the features and embedd.some AI to make suggestions while building process maps for next activity box or connectors
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We used.ARIS extensively for making eTom processes for multiple telco companies while doing design workshops for consulting assignments. The process maps were printed in A0 size sheets for process walk through
Beyond expectations
What do you like best about the product?
Modern UI and the wide range of possible use cases based on the essential data model.
What do you dislike about the product?
Starting on enterprise level is quiet heavy, for the start with BPM a less mature edition would fit better. I think it is called Basic or advanced?!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
ERP Roll Out, Simulation of resource consumption of processes, regulatory compliance process mapping and control management. Finally integration and automation scenarios with measuring by ARIS Process Mining and Task Mining. So business will get all the insights it needs to make processes transparent and get better by a real integrated solution to push optimizing potential into the organization.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you want to start with BPM you should use ARIS Basic, if there later on, after content is documented and number of users needs to rise, you can easily move to advanced and if necessary to the enterprise version later on. as ARIS is very modular, you should start smart and let ARIS grow with your needs.

Every planning products mast has user friendly & easy. Because Business Process Management depends on profit & revenue.

Conformance is the best thing i have seen in ARIS

Visualization could be much better as other tools offer

Handling large amounts of data like 1 billion rows of data

Safety database with good capabilities
What do you like best about the product?
The interface has improved a lot and now it's much easier to use. Also data can be retrieved easily by QBE which is one of the best features

It's hard to track action items, an alternate to that is provided but it's very complicated to use.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
To ensure that the safety data which has been entered is safe and easily retrieved. Different safety and aggregate listings can be generated.

What do you like best about the product?
ARIS process mining helps you to do a better analysis with interactive features.
What do you dislike about the product?
There must be a feature of copy the component and past it in another tab which I guess is missing.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I was trying to work for one of the use cases for the Order to cash process. I was able to build some cool dashboard with critical KPIs such as OTD Rework rate and First-time right ratio.

Tool with Impressive and Quick Improvement in Functionalities
What do you like best about the product?
The tool is easy to understand and has inbuilt formulas for calculating throughput times, wait time, process time, etc.
It provides integration with ARIS Connect hence users can use the already available process models in the ARIS Connect repository.
They have created a new measure called PROCESS FITNESS which is quite helpful as it shows how many activities in the ideal process match our As-Is Process.
The user interface is quite simple, and as of now, the tool is pure play process mining and; hence there is less clutter inside the tool.
The new updates have brought in the following functionalities :-
1. Insights trigger - It initiates/triggers automatic actions based on certain conditions we configured.
2. Easy integration with their Modelling tool. Now we can export the discovered model from Mining to Modelling tool.
3. Process Overlay - Overlay your KPIs on the process models developed in the ARIS Connect
4. View Mining dashboards next to your process models in ARIS Connect.

The KPI calculation is done at the backend and is connected to the data model. Hence every time a new KPI is calculated we have to refresh the data model.
Plus, this makes it difficult to validate the values we are getting.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our major use case is around finding the As-Is process while tool upgradtion or migrations and help client to understand all the variants present in the process so that they can select which variants in the process are important and which ones should be removed.
ARIS - Low code and No code Process Mining made easy
What do you like best about the product?
Completeness of this tool is mesmerising. Frequent Update deployments as well as excellent support services makes it much feasible. Scalability is another good point.
What do you dislike about the product?
The ability to export the process maps to other tools is one of the missing features for me in this tool. Also, reporting could have been faster.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Using Aris, i am able to find out the bottlenecks in any As-Is business process using the process mining. It provides me an in depth analysis for the process as well as getting a fot gap analysis.

ARIS process mining is a nice tool and can be wonderfully utilised for analyzing the gaps in business process and hence improving and digitizing it.
