This could be one input that its pricing could be adjusted with respect to other competitors regarding any new features that could be added or improvements to be made in Prisma Cloud (Annual Contract).
For how long have I used the solution?
I have been working with Prisma Cloud (Annual Contract) for approximately 18-19 months.
What was my experience with deployment of the solution?
It requires fine-tuning with other third-party integrations. Small tweaks need to be done, and this has to be done for other tools as well, which indicates deploying Prisma Cloud (Annual Contract) required some customization.
It depends, as it is quite a subjective matter regarding how long the deployment process takes. With someone having knowledge of the tool and integration, it should not take more than two to three days.
Deployment is quite easy. It just requires authentication. If you provide correct authentication, it works on the fly. We are not having any issues with the deployment process of Prisma Cloud (Annual Contract).
How are customer service and support?
The support we have raised was mostly related to gaining more knowledge rather than troubleshooting issues. I am satisfied with the quality of support I received from Prisma Cloud (Annual Contract).

How would you rate customer service and support?
What other advice do I have?
I was doing work with the Web Application Firewall for research and technical comparison. Currently, I am working with the top products in Gartner for research.
We are using multiple tools and relying on native tools as well. My prime criteria for research is to compare the native tools with the exact tools when selecting them for feedback.
The percentage difference in price compared to competitors is around 15-17%. If this price difference were addressed, the reach of Prisma Cloud (Annual Contract) would be greater, potentially capturing more of the lower segment.
Currently, we are in the exploration phase and not actively using it, but while exploring it, we will be implementing automation as well regarding AI features of Prisma Cloud (Annual Contract).
Overall rating for Prisma Cloud (Annual Contract): 9 out of 10.

Cortex Cloud’s unified dashboard brings together real-time threat detection, automated policy recommendations, and detailed compliance reporting in one place. Its seamless integrations with AWS, Azure, and popular SIEM platforms meant we were ingesting logs and acting on alerts within hours, not days. The customizable alert rules and intuitive visualizations have helped our team rapidly pinpoint anomalies and reduce manual review time by over 40%.
What do you dislike about the product?
The initial onboarding can be time-intensive—there’s a lot of policy fine-tuning required before you hit “optimal” settings, and some advanced modules (like custom indicators) lack step-by-step guides. The UI also feels a bit cluttered when monitoring many workloads simultaneously, and usage-based pricing can escalate quickly for larger environments unless you carefully manage data ingestion.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Cortex Cloud solves the core challenges of securing dynamic, multi-cloud environments by unifying visibility and controls across AWS, Azure, and GCP into a single console, automating threat detection and triage with machine-learning analytics that reduce false positives by roughly 60%, enforcing real-time policy orchestration to eliminate configuration drift, and generating continuous, audit-ready compliance reports. As a result, we halved our mean time to remediation, reclaimed over 20 analyst-hours per week from manual log-sifting, maintained 100% compliance, and scaled protection across more than ten cloud accounts without adding headcount.

Once You’re Set Up, It’s a Game Changer
What do you like best about the product?
We’ve been using Cortex Cloud for a few months now, and it’s honestly been a game changer for how we manage service ownership and operational maturity across teams. The service catalog gives us a clear, centralized view of our microservices, including who owns what and how each service stacks up against our internal standards.
One thing I really like is the scorecard system — it helps us track things like SLO compliance, runbook links, and security checks in a way that’s visible and actionable without adding process bloat. It’s made some of our security and compliance reporting way easier.
Setup took a bit of effort, especially getting all the integrations in place, but once it’s up and running, it’s low-maintenance and easy to keep updated. We’ve tied it into GitHub, PagerDuty, and some of our CI tools, and the visibility it gives us is solid.
If you’re trying to get more structure around service ownership, or just reduce the back-and-forth between engineering and ops, Cortex is definitely worth looking into.
What do you dislike about the product?
Cortex Cloud offers a lot of value, but getting started can be challenging. The setup process, especially around configuring integrations and defining scorecards, isn’t exactly plug-and-play—it requires a good amount of upfront effort and familiarity with your internal systems.
In terms of flexibility, some areas like scorecard customization or UI tweaks feel a bit limited unless you reach out to their support team. For organizations with unique workflows, this can slow down full adoption.
Also, the pricing structure isn’t very clear upfront, which makes it harder to evaluate the platform without going through a sales cycle.
That said, once it’s properly configured, it becomes a really effective tool for driving service maturity and visibility across teams.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Cortex Cloud has helped us get a much clearer handle on service ownership and operational standards across all our microservices. Before we started using it, it was tough to track who owned what and whether services were meeting basic requirements like SLOs, documentation, or alerting.
Now, we can see everything in one place, and teams have much more accountability. The scorecards make it easy to spot what needs attention, and we’re spending less time chasing down info or doing manual checks. It’s also made it easier to keep teams aligned on best practices and maintain a higher level of consistency across the board.
Intuitive. Helpful staff
What do you like best about the product?
Other than the ease of use the helpfulness of staff. Never had an issue staff cannot resolve, when I message their support they are quick to assist and usually have the answers first time round
What do you dislike about the product?
There isn’t much I actually dislike but if I had to pick anything it would probably be the fact that I’d want more features I guess. Nothing in particular as it does the job I require.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We run this alongside other products and it provides us the ability to monitor our cloud data and ensure this is secure and complices with the compliance policies we have setup.
