Unique access to current and past social media
What do you like best about the product?
Meltwater allows the easy setup of monitoring and alerts and enables us to rapidly react to current situations and needs. The interface is easy and can be adjusted fast if things change.
What do you dislike about the product?
Only 100 alerts can be send automatically at a time and email alerts done as PDF are missing a date/time stamp which makes this type of alert impossible to use for archival purposes.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Real time alerts of important changes and news announcements; research into trends and past trends. We have other services but Meltwater allows custom tweaking of the needed data which makes it the best choice.
Recommended for bulk media monitoring and real-time updates
What do you like best about the product?
It is currently the top-notch tool for media monitoring and is essential for media-sensitive organizations. I like the dashboard feature & report templates. Also, the Meltwater Academy and chatbot are beneficial for users.
What do you dislike about the product?
The track of changes made in the past on the App is challenging for a user to fetch. Another feature I would want a Monitoring App to have is AI-enabled monitoring, which is not incorporated into the App yet.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Meltwater helps create a report and analyze the current sentiment and buzz around an event or announcement.

What do you dislike about the product?
1/ Set-up is a bit complicated. Although, the account managers help us to maintain them quite efficiently
2/ Data takes quite some time to get displayed. Given that the data we see on screen is quite exhaustive, it takes some time to load.

1/ Tracking of competitors is easy
2/ Sentiment analysis is a breeze now with quite an exhaustive range of data sets
3/ Multiple users do not affect how the platform is used. Numerous dashboards can be created without disturbing any of the other users.

Overall, I found Meltwater to be clunky and lacking in useful features.

The social listening tools on Meltwater were good. I appreciated that I could see mentions about our brand.

I found that posting was more difficult than it needed to be. I feel the interface could have been better.

Meltwater helped us manage our social media platforms. It made life a little easier in managing our social channels.

Demographics and information regarding previous collaborations.

It is not possible to upload stories, and some times influencers don´t want to connect their profiles

This is the first platform we've used and we're going on our second year with Meltwater. It's nice to have a single platform for monitoring, media, and social scheduling.
What do you dislike about the product?
They don't have as many connections for monitoring article mentions. Our biggest publication is the business journals, and they are unable to track that publication.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Knowing what is said about us, when it is said about us.

Meltwater has great insights for social/media listening.
What do you like best about the product?
Explore and the reporting sections are very helpful. The Audience feature is definetly what distinguishes Meltwater form others.
What do you dislike about the product?
It does not include Pinterest for posting and social analytics, which is an important social platform for us.

I get to see who is talking about our brand and what other competitors are talking about too.
Good all-in-on Solution with Flexibility
What do you like best about the product?
One of my favorite features are the approval workflows and notes on Engage (social media scheduling). The app is easy to use and mark up with changes needed.
What do you dislike about the product?
The media searches require a good understanding of boolean in order to filter out junk and a lot of the reporting features come at an additional (hefty) cost.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We switched to Meltwater because we wanted an all in one solution (eliminating multiple softwares reduced cost and streamlined communication with our rep_

Meltwater's social listening tools and notifications made it simple and streamlined to see info that is sometimes hard to find on your own.
What do you dislike about the product?
The platform could be a little buggy at times. Something wouldn't work or it became difficult to complete a certain task.

Meltwater is benefiting me by giving me the tools and info to give to my superiors about how we are doing on social, as well as, what people are saying about our company.
