Easy to navigate.
What do you like best about the product?
The audience metrics are really interesting.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes I get confused between tabs and sections.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
With Meltwater, my media monitoring work gets easier and faster. I lose less time looking at different outlets' metrics across other websites -- Meltwater helps me save time!
Meltwater provides solutions for my organization's media needs
What do you like best about the product?
The interface and user experience is very easy to navigate and use. I primarily use Meltwater for its media monitoring capabilities, which I find accurate. I also recently started using Meltwater for a journalist database and I am enjoying the functions.
What do you dislike about the product?
Meltwater almost has too many filters and options when using the media monitoring function, and I sometimes don't use the correct filters to find what I am looking for. I have taken additional trainings to try to teach myself how to best use it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It allows me to see all of our media hits in one place, and Meltwater sends me a daily email with hits from the past 24 hours. This enables me to stay on top of who is talking about my organization without having to use Google search or other investigative methods.
Great brand & social listening tool
What do you like best about the product?
I've used Meltwater at previous companies, and what stands out to me is how in-depth you can go with your reporting. Whether you are looking at social metrics or brand-related analytics, it does a nice job and highlighting the info you need in an organized way.
What do you dislike about the product?
It takes some getting used to because there are so many great features. But once you play around with it and get to know how to truly set up your monitors and dashboards, it's smooth sailing from there.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I've taken on social media management within my team. Going back retroactively and understanding past averages, benchmarks, and other essential metrics is a huge plus. It will help me set up a more defined social strategy moving forward.
My experience with meltwater is good, just think there could be more features to make it stand out.
What do you like best about the product?
Most helpful for me is the engage platform to schedule social media posts. Also, I like seeing all engagement from each platform in one place.
What do you dislike about the product?
The platform often disconnects, and my posts do not get posted, and I do not receive any notification.

What is helpful is Meltwater's reports on social media analytics.

It is easy to access and find detailed data insights quickly.

There is nothing I dislike about meltwater. It is user-friendly.

I wish they tracked print as well as online and social

What do you like best about the product?
Customer service is excellent. When we need help with a report, they are quick to respond and ready to meet deadlines.
What do you dislike about the product?
We use PR Newswire to distribute press releases because they get better pick-up.

The best tool for media analytics
What do you like best about the product?
The intuitiveness of its approach is the best part of Meltwater. Having the functionality to save searches and filter for sentiment is also extremely helpful.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not sure this is a dislike, but there are so many tools that sometimes I am not sure if I'm leveraging it to its full potential.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Constantly trying to stay on top of media mentions and this is difficult without Meltwater. Certainly has made me more productive!

At times it is complicated to work on but its good that we have a rep that can answer the questions we need

Reports may not be as robust as Cision's tool.
