great tool for vetting influencers
What do you like best about the product?
I like the demographics and insights that klear provides on each influencer. It is nice to see their influencer score and top cities. There are a number of insights that can be pulled by just entering the IG handle info.
What do you dislike about the product?
i wish that more influencers were already authenticated through the system and that all demographics would show for every influencer. Sometimes not all the categories populate with information.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Klear helps me to vet and choose influencers who represent our brand. It also helps me to understand their followers and key demographics that help me determine if they are a good fit for my brand.
Meltwater is quick to provide training and support.
What do you like best about the product?
Meltwater staff are always available when I need guidance or support. It's really nice to know that their expertise is always just an email or zoom away.
What do you dislike about the product?
Meltwater has so many capabilities. I discover something new every day!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Dashboards and daily media monitoring safe us a good deal of time prepping reports and insights for clients.
User friendly, but missing media offer
What do you like best about the product?
The dashboards. Makes it super easy for us to see our monthly media coverage.
What do you dislike about the product?
Lots of media types are missing for us. We use a lot of print media, and it wasn't simple to get that service. Plus, everything seems to be an extra or is not offered.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It makes it easier for us to see where our name is mentioned in the media and the dashboard helps us oversee the months.

Campaign management, onboarding with creators, and metric tracking

What do you like best about the product?
My team loves the easy searchability and the range of influencers on the platform. You can find anyone from mega to nano!
What do you dislike about the product?
The only thing we wish for discovering influencers would be the ability to mark if influencers require payment or would take product tradeout for a collaboration.
For agency accounts, it would be helpful to be able to sync more than one Shopify or ecomm platform at a time for reporting as well.

Great Experience So Far
What do you like best about the product?
The functionality is incredibly easy to pick up and does not require a ton of training. I love the search functionality and the demographics and data it provides for potential new influencers. I have only run 1 campaign so far, and had a few issues with connecting accounts, but I have found that to be the same across a lot of similar platforms. But overall, creating the campaign and executing have been very straightforward and easy. I also really like the functionality of being able to predict how campaigns will go by entering your potential influencers and # of posts.
What do you dislike about the product?
As with most influencer platforms, there is definitely a lot of time put into ensuring that your influencers are able to connect their accounts to the platform. I had a lot of issues with some smaller, micro-influencers not knowing how to complete the process and have spent a lot of time hand-holding them to figure it out. While this is not great, I have found a similar experience with most influencer tech platforms.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Klear is helping me to significantly streamline the work needed to complete an influencer campaign from identifying the influencer all the way through to paying them. There is A LOT of work and steps between these two that go into influencer marketing, and Klear helps to take a significant amount of time and effort out of the process through their platform. The payment system also helps me from having to set each influencer up in my company's system and then pay them, which can be a long, difficult process. Finally, Klear helps me to identify brand-appropriate influencers using really easy search functionality that saves a TON of time manually identifying good candidates.
A lot of back and forth with the support service
What do you like best about the product?
It can track some articles that I won't necessarily see in Google.
What do you dislike about the product?
I can't find many TV segments by myself, or they are not tracked because the retranscription is false. Also, some articles are not even tracked in the right countries, and it's challenging for us because we need to contact the support service every time to find them.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We can have monthly reports with nice graphics. The reach is calculated easily.
Meltwater has all the tools I need to be successful in social media management!
What do you like best about the product?
Detailed, robust social listening tools.
Easy to schedule multiple posts on multiple platforms (TikTok + Instagram Reel scheduling is huge!)
I've used tools in the past that were very limited compared to Meltwater. I ended up doing a lot of work publishing and analyzing data on each social platform before, but with Meltwater everything I need is in one place.

What do you dislike about the product?
There is a bit of a learning curve when it comes to using all of the different tools and understanding how they might connect. It still takes me a while to find the exact thing I'm looking for in the Explore tools. I would also love to see more data around the Conversations tab in Engage. For example, if I could select a date range in Conversations and see a breakdown of sentiment, conversation tags, and share that as a dashboard, that would be a huge help!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Providing an easy, all-in-one tool for scheduling, approving, and reporting on social posts. Also providing customizable reports that I don't have to build from scratch myself.
Meltwater has been helpful and I have received a great training to use it.

Easy to navigate and useful reports every week.

I would like more time period comparisons.

What do you like best about the product?
I love how I can find exactly what I am looking for with just a few key words. I can also see how much of the information is positive or negative, and I can find information from many different sources.
What do you dislike about the product?
I did not dislike anything about Meltwater!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is creating slack channels for me to deliver news to the rest of my organization. It is also helping me find resources quickly for information I need, as well as the team.
