An intuitive service with multiple capabilities.
What do you like best about the product?
What I like best are the tools provided for adding and pitching media members.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't have any particular "dislikes" about Meltwater. There have been kinks in rolling out a new service, but questions have been answered.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Meltwater is helping keep track of all of our University's media mentions. It saves time from having to search through all cracks of the internet to find stories.
An easy to use database with a wealth of information
What do you like best about the product?
It's so easy to use and it connects with all the major platforms we use. I also really like the search functionality by audience region, influencer region and interest.
What do you dislike about the product?
Convincing people you work with to login in to the system to get more detailed data can be tricky and we're now reaching a point where Mega/Macro influencers need to perhaps be further refined.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
There are so many influencers out there it's hard to find ones that are relevant with authentic audiences without this tool especially as my role is global and requires us to reach out or be able to analyze influencers worldwide.
Great analytics
What do you like best about the product?
I like how in-depth the analytics are. They really help us have a better understanding of our social and media hits.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think the Klear program could be a little better. We try to use it for influencer marketing, but often the data isn't up to date.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Meltwater helps us have one place to view media hits and social media data. This helps us be more efficient.
Meltwater's customer service is fantastic
What do you like best about the product?
Our customer support team member is great about collaborating with us to develop our media tracking reports. She has been great for onboarding me and helping me to learn more about the platform.
What do you dislike about the product?
This platform can be heavy to load so I sometimes have issues accessing the website. Typically I don't, but it is something I need to be cautious of when under deadlines.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sending press releases, tracking our opens/closes to assess who and how we connect.
Accurate reporting for social media and publication insights.
What do you like best about the product?
Using Meltwater helps us to track publication mentions and social media insights with the same accuracy as using separate business suites. We love having everything available on one platform and have used Meltwater for four years. Customer service has always been very responsive and helpful as well.
What do you dislike about the product?
Monitoring media through Meltwater's search feature can be confusing until you get the hang of it, but their customer service can walk you through just about anything on the platform.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Meltwater is solving the problem of using multiple outlets or third parties to gather insights and analytics. Using an all-in-one platform allows us to be more efficient and productive with our time.
great solution, huge breadth
What do you like best about the product?
You can do so much with the tool, it's a tool with an wide breadth and almost limitless use cases
What do you dislike about the product?
It's tough to figure out how to use it to your specific use case and there are some paywalled limitations
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I can use it to help look at Celebrity audiences and interests so that I can better recommend celebrity partners to our brand clients. I also use it to track any information about brands we are considering for investment. I also use it to see the effect of celebrities on startup brands before and after they onboard to a company.
Social Media Coordinator that uses Meltwater to schedule and dissimenate content for higher ed.
What do you like best about the product?
I like being able to post to all my social media accounts and tag all handles with the ease of one click. The upside of using Meltwater is that your entire team can access and numerous accounts can be added.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have not experienced any downsides to Meltwater as of yet. I have full confidence that if I were to have an issue, a representative would be available to help me.

It's solving the problem of having to post to multiple platforms at once with the ability to post to every connected account in one click.
My Experience With Klear For Destination Marketing
What do you like best about the product?
I really love searching for influencers and seeing their insights. It's really helpful to be able to bring back to the client so that they can also have a say on which influencers they'd like to use.
What do you dislike about the product?
Would love to see more influencers based out of Asia; limited regions except for U.S. and Europe. I would love to see Klear bring on influencers from other parts of the world.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Searching for influencers for our destination and marketing clients for FAM trips. It is really helpful to use the search tool to find influencers in the travel/tourism sphere at the drop of a hat rather than spending hours researching on Instagram
Klear, what a great tool!
What do you like best about the product?
Klear is very user-friendly and so easy to use. The interface is well presented and easy to navigate from one section to another. The part regarding the campaign analysis is also an excellent tool; it helps us beautifully to track the reach/ROI, which is very important for our organization. Data in the influencer profile are also beneficial for the analysis and help us make decisions.
What do you dislike about the product?
For the moment, we don't see the average reach per reel in the influencer profile. Sometimes, not all influencer social media are connected to the Klear profile account, so we have to be careful and add it manually in the account settings (ex : Youtube and TikTok).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our organization has an online form that influencers fill out and submit to us. Klear helps us compare the submitted data and see if the influencer is honest in his process.
