Very useful for understanding influencers.
What do you like best about the product?
It can be said that it is optimal for influencer research and leads to a reduction in research workload. In Japan, there are not many such tools, and the integration between tools is not smooth, so this aspect is also very helpful. With Meltwater, we can extract the volume and posts from Twitter and Instagram, and seamlessly conduct individual research with Klear.
What do you dislike about the product?
As expected, the weakness is in the Japanese language. Major agencies mainly use Meltwater for social listening, so there is a strong desire for the establishment of a Japanese branch and support similar to Meltwater. (Apologies if it has already been established.) It's unfortunate that Japan cannot be set as a location in the Discovery tab. Since Japan has a deeply rooted culture of word-of-mouth, being able to identify influencers by genre is quite useful.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As previously mentioned, analyze the major trends and volume of posts on Twitter and Instagram using Meltwater, infer users with influence within those trends, identify similar influencers, and confirm the feasibility of their assignment. There is a significant advantage in terms of reducing the amount of work when considering their use as community leaders or influencers when changing the narrative.

What do you like best about the product?
Like many organizations, we have been tasked with working with influencers to keep up with trends in marketing. But - how does one identify an influencer that makes an impact, that aligns with your brand...etc..Having seen HBO's Fake Famous and being inidated with influencer requests non-stop, I have been impressed with the tools that Klear provides to help identify those influencers... as well as the partnerships and promotions we have run since utilizing the tool.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't know that I feel that the user experience is the greatest, though I am certain that they will continue to make upgrades to the platform. The experience can be a bit frustrating.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
This tool has become a key piece to identifying the influencers we work with - but more importantly those that we do not.

Very user friendly and intuitive. Team members are helpful when problem solving.

Influencers need to be added to a campaign prior to launch to ensure analytics pull into the campaign.

Pulling in data from other platforms. Our influencers use more that just IG and Tiktok.

What do you like best about the product?
I find Meltwater to be an exceptional resource for managing our brand reputation. Its simple and intuitive interface makes it easy to use, while its reliable reports give us invaluable insight into the best ways to reinforce a strong identity. In addition, I have always found their customer service team to be prompt and helpful in resolving any issues that arise. By putting all these resources at our fingertips, Meltwater has truly strengthened us on every level - enabling more effective marketing strategies and overall growth opportunities.
What do you dislike about the product?
While I appreciate all the resources Meltwater has to offer, there have been times when I have needed to contact someone from their team to ask for a relatively simple change. Fortunately, after exploring some of the features in more depth, these changes were ultimately successful and my concerns about using such a comprehensive platform were allayed once I was able to use it without any issues.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I wanted to measure the impact of our marketing efforts across different channels, which is why I chose Meltwater. It's helped me immensely to evaluate, track and improve the success of my campaigns by giving me intuitive insights into how we're performing. This has been a great benefit to us!
Lacks focus
What do you like best about the product?
For power users, the platform offers advanced boolean searches.
What do you dislike about the product?
Meltwater's UI is lacking, and unfortunately lacks some basic functionality of a media monitoring tool (like being able to search by DMA, for example). The source lists are extremely messy with each subdomain of a website selectable. Lastly, customer support is average, and frankly unacceptable during times of crisis.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Meltwater helps with basic visibility into media mentions very similar to a well-thought-out Google News alert.

Search is basic and could be better. Can eliminate those irrelevant results

Its useful because its a platform we can use for searching influencers. It makes our work kind of easier and we think results are reliable.

The interface is clean and fresh -- the analytics and listening seem to be Meltwater's strengths.
What do you dislike about the product?
The social engage tab -- where we schedule content -- has room to grow. We've experienced glitches and poor user experience interfaces. It has been frustrating to utilize every day and is a disappointment from what Meltwater pitched to us.

Upon initial use, the platform may appear slightly overwhelming due to the abundance of data that needs to be sifted through. The sheer volume of information presented can create a sense of initial complexity, necessitating a deeper exploration to fully grasp the various components and functionalities within the platform.

Meltwater is the perfect tool for keeping our finger on the pulse of the latest trends. We can now track mentions of our keywords across online news, social media, and other channels. This helped us to stay ahead of the curve and identify new opportunities.
