What do you like best about the product?
I'm absolutely loving how effortlessly accessible everything is, and the way insights can be grasped in a flash. This is seriously impressive!
What do you dislike about the product?
Meltwater changed it's interface recently and finding the areas needed can be confusing.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
TV Eyes and Broadcast monitoring. Also, knowing how many people articles reached.

What do you like best about the product?
It is a very easy to use platform, easy to navigate. One doesn't need much training before using Meltwater, the rabs are self explanotory. It also generates insights from data by itself, that's super cool.
What do you dislike about the product?
When you search for something in the search bar, sometimes it takes really long to pull out results.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Meltwater helps me pull out social media results for my analysis. I like working with Natural Language Processing models and it gives me just the right text data I need for all my models.

What do you like best about the product?
I like how it integrates with Slack, so I don't always have to sign into Meltwater to get alerts.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think Analyze should be called "reports" or "analytics." It's confusing.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I know what's happening with our brand and all our portfolio companies. I can easily celebrate wins and get ahead of bad press.

Database of press contact list is terrible, stinks on ice, useless

What do you like best about the product?
I like that its press release distribution feature lets you track who opened and what percentage open rate BUT its limited because your lists are incomplete, out dated and seeded with useless generic emails that do me no good
What do you dislike about the product?
Your press contact lists are useless outdated and irritating - i need accurate PERSONALIZED names of producers and reporters not the generic ones and the main switchboard phone numbers that compromise your lists. - A press release or outreahc note is no good unless I can do a person to person direct email or phone call to follow. For instance, there are 11 shows on Fox Business - I need the names and emails of those bookers for each of those shows clearly delinated in one place and you have none of them readily available. Start with JJ Smith from Mornings with Maria and work your way through the schedule through the Bottom Line.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
at present, it creates more problems than it solves - get better information like personalized update emails for producers and reporters -useless without it

What do you like best about the product?
By far the most useful aspects of Meltwater for me is the analytical tools provided through Engage and the customizable searches in Explore. The reporting through Engage is used on a monthly basis for metrics and day to day by our SM Team to help target their daily efforts. With Explore, we have some Searches set up to run every day but we also leave space so that we can run ad-hoc searches as needed when extra info on a specific topic is required.
What do you dislike about the product?
I hate to say it but the weaker part for me and my team has been their monitoring tools. Our team could not get comfortable with the Smart Inbox design, prefering the stream format offered by other companies. This is not a big deal, as we signed with Meltwater for their analytical tools.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
They help us target our efforts based on multiple factors, so we can get a better idea of how topics are performing than just individual stats. We get a deeper picture of a person influence than just a Follower count.

What do you like best about the product?
Meltwater is consistent in finding what I'm looking for. I use the platform for all my media monitoring needs.
What do you dislike about the product?
The boolean occasionally doesn't pick up hits and I have to go through customer service to figure out the problem.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The biggest problem Meltwater solves for our agency is manual labor. The software saves us tons of time that we would be spending searching for media hits.

Compared to MuckRack, Meltwater does not have as many features and is not as easy to navigate.

It allows us to report out on Share of Voice and gives competitive analysis.

Great for responding to social posts and tagging information to revert back to in the future.

Nothing yet as I am a newer user. It does have a small learning curve to navigate the system.

Meltwater is worth the investment

What do you like best about the product?
It is a cohesive system. I love that all of the tools I need for my marketing and communications work is located in one space. I also, really like the reporting system.
What do you dislike about the product?
The interface is a little busy. I wonder if the UX could be adjusted on the landing page. Like a page of large icons that folks could identify easily then transition to the wordier version after the user has identified their chosen path forward. Hope that makes sense!

Also, I don't like that I have to remember a specific URL to be able to login. Not sure why I can't sign in on Meltwater.com and then be redirected to app.meltwater.com.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The organization required more robust reporting for their funders. Meltwater helped easily identify what's working and what needs to be adjusted to meet the communications needs for the contract.

Great tool for Influencer's Campaigns

What do you like best about the product?
Simple tool that helps us find and gather our collaborations in one place. There's a wide range of profiles available from all around the globe. Also it helps us navigate through profiles with clear and authentic data, in a field where many fake profiles may appear.
The campaign tool is great and allows us to gather reports quickly.

What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes data seems to be a bit funny and lacks refresh (ie you can get XXM imps on your report when the actual influencer data shows XXXXM imps..). The pricing of the tool which goes higher every year but hey, who doesn't ;)

Helps us create Influencers Campaigns around the globe and makes it easy to track and create reports.
Gathers our data in one place, and helps us identify influencers relevant to our business.
