Influencer targeting feature is exceptional, as is the PR analytics

System can be a little clunky at times and difficult to navigate

We are able to better target media who would be interested in niche youth sports events through the influencer database

What do you like best about the product?
The media monitoring features and sentiment analysis are the strongest in my opinion.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish the sentiment analysis was trainable.

We don't have to keep a manual media log anymore.

What do you like best about the product?
I love the different ways we can visualize the data. This helps not only inform the work I do, but helps me showcase the value of media relations with the organization. Additionally, my Meltwater team provides the most amazing support, no matter the ask!
What do you dislike about the product?
I sometimes wish the platform was a little faster to use. I often work fast, and so I find load times are a little long when in Meltwater.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Not only are we tracking and being notified of media hits we receive, but we are gaining valuable data and insights into those hits and their trends.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
You won't regret it.

Some parts of the system are buggy and need refinement, particularly in the reports you can produce/share

What do you like best about the product?
I love the reporting capabilities in Meltwater Engage.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not all features are super intuitive, such as adding social listening.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Social media reporting, which was a big gap prior to using Meltwater. This allows me to better communicate how campaigns and content performed.

* Great analytics

* difficulty building lists
*Not the easiest instructions on how to navigate meltwater's features. (wish there was some sort of handbook etc)
*List numbers should corespond with how many influencers we can sent out, so if our max is 1000 recipients, lists should be able to go to 1000 people (for ease)

What do you like best about the product?
I think Meltwater's customer service is excellent. Their reps are always available to troubleshoot issues and answer questions.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think the organization of the site is still a bit too clunky and difficult to engage with. Even after a few tutorials, I still find myself clicking around to find what I'm actually looking for.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Meltwater to create publicity updates for our global marketers. These publicity updates have been satisfactory and also allow for our company as a whole to stay informed of our publicity and media hits.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I think Meltwater is a great software to conduct outreach to bloggers, influencers, reporters, experts in niche fields, etc. I do, however, think it takes awhile to become comfortable with using it regularly. Once you become comfortable with its functions and the language of the software, it is quite simple and quick to use. That being said, the support of their reps is excellent and much appreciated.

If we have a problem our representative works on it right away to get resolution.
What do you dislike about the product?
Promotion of new services can be too aggressive.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Nice way to benchmark our performance against other destinations. A good way to see all our online mentions in one daily report.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Some of the media contacts at publications are out of date, so if it's super important to reach the right person, double check.
