Klear Review
What do you like best about the product?
It is extremely user-friendly. It is a great tool to search for Influencers and monitor your campaigns.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would like more searchable filters to narrow down to specific Influencers (current search feels broad)
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The tool allows me to show ROI on Campaign efforts and weed out Influencers once thought to be beneficial to the organization, and focus on the ones yielding more significant results.

Searching is not always easy, you could make it easier. Just make it more intuitive.

The results of media monitoring are fantastic as are the analytics you provide.

What do you like best about the product?
I have been working with Klear for more then 1 year, Klear is a very robust platform and easy to use, provides analytics and demographic information across all major social platforms and is the only one that really works in central and south america.
What do you dislike about the product?
I haven't run into any problems with Klear.

Easy Influencers discovery and real KPI data for my clients.
Gaslighting is the name of the Meltwater game
What do you like best about the product?
The reporting capabilities of the tool, though they can be finicky.
What do you dislike about the product?
Ever heard the term "Gaslighting?" Well, that seems to be the mantra when it comes to Meltwater's customer service. We have used their social media tool "Engage" for over 3 years, and while the product has it's flaws (i.e. occasional disconnection, missing data, etc.) - the PEOPLE you'll work with are so much worse.
Since Meltwater is a sales-based company, you will be pushed for their additional product and upgrades even after expressing there's not a need or the budget for it in your business. Additionally, you'll get a new account service rep every 3 months wanting to hop on a "quick intro call," asking you to re-explain your business needs over and over again. But the worst thing is, when you have an actual issue with the platform - GOOD LUCK GETTING IT FIXED IN A TIMELY MANNER. Instead, prepare for emails explaining why the problem "must" be on your end, needing to refresh your browser or "we're still waiting to hear back from the tech team." For example, we just got a social account hooked up after 1 month of follow-up emails, and might we add, the first time a rep actually went into the account themselves.
Save yourself the drama of manipulative sales-tactics - and look for a different tool.

Best Influencer Management Platform
What do you like best about the product?
Having reviewed and used multiple influencer management platforms, KLEAR stands out for its excellent UI, analytics and simplicity. The software is intuitive and what's best, it works in real time. With influencer metrics and dashboards updated in seconds, decision making happens in real time. The Account Management team is as agile as the platform, with excellent tech support and hands on client support.
What do you dislike about the product?
Inability to search for influencers by SM posts mapped to current location.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Real time influencer vetting (Content, Audience, Demographics, sphere of influence). Reporting, dashboard, analytics and ease of sharing custom reports.

What do you like best about the product?
The support I received from the meltwater's team was superb in terms of timeliness, kmowledge, resource and solutions to our needs. Always reachable and teaching our team on tips and tricks, felt the pride and care from the meltwater team.

Accuracy of data sometimes is tricky, but think this is a limit in the subscription we are on.

We've used Meltwater to help convert ourselves to a internal PR agency when we had to cut all the agemcy budget.
Good tool to visualize and monitor most social activity

The dashboards for benchmarking are good as well as the charts based on search data.

The lack of LinkedIn media is something I am not sure is overcome in other platforms, but I will mention it here. Overall my dislikes are the ROI of the tool for just social monitoring.

Get a trial and compare to other platforms before investing, also review your strategy/tools/lists for outreach vs these tools

Meltwater's dashboard is great! It's understandable, easy to navigate and provides all the information we're tracking, all at a glance. You can then dive deeper into a specific area for more details and analysis.
From media monitoring to managing our online brand presence, we get the insights we need, real-time, easily and quickly, allowing us to in turn complete our reports and analysis accurately and efficiently.
Accessibility is also a big plus. Their support team and staff is readily available by phone and email, so if we ever need to change a part of our service or get assistance, we never have to wait.

There aren't much downsides that we've encountered.
It can be a little tricky to get the hang of all the options at the beginning, but after using it a couple times, it becomes second nature. So I don't know if there's anything specific that we would say we dislike.
I do believe that the pricing could be improved for smaller, non-profit organizations making its services more affordable especially considering the impact of COVID-19.
Regardless though, we do feel that the ROI is significant.

Media tracking, share of voice and social sentiment are all things that are tricky to measure, especially in Belize where data on viewership, ratings, etc. is practically non-existent. However, with these platforms increasingly moving online, we can better track performance of our content and assets with Meltwater. It helps make our reports more accurate and easier to complete (less time consuming).
Additionally, we can see which media houses and journalists are relevant to our work, enabling us to build more effective media relations not just locally, but internationally. This is a big area for us, as we don't want to miss any opportunity to help build relationships and exposure especially since the resource we work to protect is shared.

Arrange a meeting or presentation. Actually seeing how it works, being able to interact with the service and the people are good indications to see if this is a fit for your needs. We had specific priorities and the Meltwater team was able to work with us and customize to better meet our needs.

Meltwater's sales staff can be a bit aggressive.

We're showing our board and executive team how media exposure is a great force multiplier for our marketing efforts, and demonstrating the value of news coverage in developing and maintaining awareness of our facility and efforts.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Meltwater is more user-friendly than its competitors, and its people — while I point out how aggressive their sales people can be — are very, very supportive of their customers.
