Getting the right information just when you need it

What do you like best about the product?
Meltwater is our base tool to obtain conversation insights for our communication and innovation campaigns. Through their data analysis, we have built strategies for new clients
What do you dislike about the product?
The changes implemented on access to information significantly reduced the analysis. As an example, in some searches, Facebook has zero mentions in listening due to these limitations.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The tool has allowed us to find possible sources of crisis, mainly in conversation with public institutions. Based on their insights, it has been possible to design a comprehensive containment strategy, almost immediately.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Continuing to explore the tool and its different information modules is the best way to find new solutions for your campaigns.

What do you like best about the product?
Meltwater is very helpful because it allows us to track down and to know the activities concerned our product. It gives us practical insight and others' points of view.
What do you dislike about the product?
It could be more intuitive so everyone could use it. Other than that, everything is excellent.

What do you like best about the product?
I find the shareable dashboards most helpful when creating reports. It's great being able to send out reports that executives can interact with, without needing to log into the platform itself. I also find the price of the tool very reasonable compared to others.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish there was more Facebook and Instagram data available-- most insights are pulled from Twitter data, and that is simply not where most of our audience is active. I understand data restrictions may come from Facebook (now Meta) themselves, but it is still a downside.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am using Meltwater to keep an eye on what is being said about my organization at a more granular level, but also to be privy to the conversation around our industry as a whole. Being able to identify themes is helpful, and being aware of negative or otherwise questionable conversation related to our brand and industry is helpful in protecting our reputation.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
As with other social listening tools, sentiment analysis can be hit or miss. Everything else is pretty spot on and easy to implement, customize, and share out.

The issue of having a complete overview, you have to buy the engage module so that what is scheduled also works.

The speed with which it throws the data and the information it allows us to see.

That sometimes it does not provide all the news information on some topics

This tool can help with social SoV when compared to brand competitors.
What do you dislike about the product?
For social listening, I wish the process was less time-consuming & delivered more finite results.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
When dealing with client crisis scenarios (both through social and media relations) this tool allows us to monitor for negative-related conversations in real time.

What do you like best about the product?
I like how much you can customize your searches and filter precisely for what you are searching.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes without the help of a representative, it can be difficult to create a search for exactly what you're looking for.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Using Meltwater, I can report on client/campaign successes and crisis management. I also like being able to compare coverage or mentions between timelines or comparing how certain campaigns performed against each other.
