Easy to fit training into my busy work schedule
What do you like best about the product?
I like the video training- it's really helpful to have captions available so I can speed-read the video content when I'm busy.
What do you dislike about the product?
For me the training is very USA focused. I'd like to see more UK examples for example, in the crisis management course.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Media monitoring, free training and social media management all in one package.
It is a powerful social media tool with great support.

The tech support is very quick to resolve issues.

You should be able to create a combined custom dashboard.

Helpful and informative
What do you like best about the product?
Meltwater makes media watching and PR management easy and the tutorials were great for me and my team to stay on top of the latest trends and to ensure we were honing our skills as PR professionals.
What do you dislike about the product?
Navigating the platform takes some time to master, but once I did, it was easy.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are a church with limited resources. So, when we want to get a press release out or monitor any mentions of our brand online, Meltwater has made this simple and easy to do.
Meltwater is user-friendly, has vast possibilities, and offers great support.
What do you like best about the product?
Meltwater's courses are incredibly easy to follow, and it is easy to implement the learning in those courses to actually use the various tools offered. It's incredibly user-friendly, and not intimidating.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are so many options that it can sometimes be hard to be confident that I'm using all the tools. This is a pretty acceptable downside though! So many options!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Meltwater helps us monitor both our media mentions AND our social media. I even find Meltwater's monitoring easier to use than some of the other social media analytics tools out there, including the in-app tools from some social media platforms.

I work for a franchisor company, so the ability to pull a list of media contacts in each local market is what I like best.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike that I cannot pull a local media contact list by ZIP Code only.

the platform sometimes glitches (i.e., there have been a few occasions where I was unable to open drafts saved in the content calendar or edit/copy posts)

My monthly calls with my account manager are always very helpful. I appreciate the partnership and Meltwater's priority to make the platform work for me.

Our target audiences are not heavy social media users, so it is difficult to figure out the best way to utilize such a robust platform.

Bringing to light the tags, mentions, key words, etc. that are relevant for us to track rather than me searching and hoping to come across the right information.
Meltwater is a good tool but not right for my needs.

What do you like best about the product?
Meltwater provides great insights for our client, and the team is extremely responvise and helpful in training/questions.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's a very complex system, so it takes a long time to learn.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It solves the question of "who is talking about our clients and what are they saying?". This has helped us to be on top of negative press, and also allows us to highlight positive articles/mentions to our clients, often times before they have seen them.

I like the different search methods, the interactive boards and the easy access to so much important information about a lot of the things that I need for my work

Sometimes searches are not as accurate as I would like or it takes a lot of manual work to weed out things that do not belong to a specific search - sometimes media categorization is inaccurate

It's helping me find contact information for reporters easily and gathering important news mention insights across charts and alerts that have helped us inform our clients better
