What do you like best about the product?
I like the research capabilities and the new info that was hard to find

Maybe it's overwhelming with a lot of new features and information. It can be difficult when first starting

Knowing customers better and knowing more about how they use the product and what they re shaong about the product has helped us a lot

What do you like best about the product?
Tagging, dashboard, and the Chrome plug-in - definitely a PR lifesaver! The helpdesk team is fantastic too - always receive the support I need within hours!
What do you dislike about the product?
Can't crawl paywalled contents. Can't detect media site pattern changes sometimes.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Helping me to address and prioritize what really matters efficiently. Turning complex, abundant information into simple, graphical reports.

What do you like best about the product?
First and foremost, Meltwater has an extremely friendly user interface which is easy to understand and navigate with tools and help available to learn how to monitor the media you are analysing in the most effective way possible.
What do you dislike about the product?
I feel it could be easier to navigate between tags and folders as it can occasionally be quite a slow process when tagging or untagging clippings.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Meltwater is effective at monitoring the articles a manual search may not pick up and additionally passes on important data and insights which make it easy to spot syndicated pieces.

What do you like best about the product?
Meltwater is incredibly helpful because all of the tools are easily described. The platform truly wants to help you grow and succeed.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing really, you receive a lot of help from the customer success agent.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

What do you like best about the product?
Once you get the hang of Booleans, you're able to create highly customised searches for monitoring the media.
What do you dislike about the product?
Certain functionalities are buggy, for example I cannot see any TikTok content appear in my Meltwater searches. IG Stories are also non-searchable.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Able to look at conversations happening online and saves us time from manually having to check each platform.

It consolidates the entire online conversation into one platform.

The social media scheduling could be improved with feed previews, saved/ suggested hashtags, and the ability to change the posting time per platform.

What do you like best about the product?
It's accuracy for media monitoring and analysis. It's quick. And it's easy to use.
What do you dislike about the product?
I've no comments on this. As I said, I really like the Meltwater for it professional social media analytics.

Making media monitoring & analysis easy. It helps in filtering the items that I would use in my media monitoring.

What do you like best about the product?
Being able to quickly and cohesively check for mentions on social media and news outlets to gauge interest in our institution and prepare for any potential public relations concerns that might arise with certain topics. I have also learned a lot through Meltwater academy and gotten qualif
What do you dislike about the product?
The price point is on the high side given that there are other alternatives out there, the customer support service side could also be better (but I don't handle that- I simply handle gathering reports and media monitoring).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Keeping a close eye on what news outlets are mentioning our institution so we can be prepared to respond to a news story if it comes up (and it often does without us being notified by the journalist).

What do you like best about the product?
One of the best elements in my opinion is the "Engage" functionality to monitor the media through customizable searches. You can easily create reports or dashboards and share them with colleagues or partners.
What do you dislike about the product?
According to colleagues, the media database is not as exhaustive and comprehensive as they would hope for. It seems to be somewhat useful for most developed countries, but I hear it is not as useful for journalists based in the developing world. The sentiment analysis could be a bit better, as it often miscategorizes content. We work on negative topics (diseases), so most content is marked as negative when in fact we may be announcing something that will help fight those diseases.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
MeltWater helps to track various metrics related to our media and social media presence and performance, such as hits, mentions, sentiment, etc. It helps to visualize in which countries we were quoted or mentioned.
