A powerful tool with lots of support
What do you like best about the product?
I particularly appreciate the amount of support that is available to optimize user experience and accelerate learning how to use the platform.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the algorithm for reports pulls the most accurate information but not the most useful.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Meltwater allows us to really analyze our communications efforts and measure their impact and return on investment.
Useful, with room for improvement.
What do you like best about the product?
The part of Meltwater that I use most is the "Search" function. We add keywords into different searches to simplify our earned media tracking. If we know a journalist will be publishing something, we add their name and the publication into the search. Then when the article is published it automatically pulls into our search feature.
What do you dislike about the product?
Per my explanation above about the search function of Meltwater, it seems to only pull in about 75% of our earned media. We still have to set follow up actions for tracking articles, and double check that Meltwater pulled them in. It also doesn't track print media.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Tracking earned media, identifying journalist, a dashboard that displays our earned media article performance in clear and easy graphs. A place to track and have a record of past articles.
Meltwater Has Changed My Workday
What do you like best about the product?
Meltwater has been incredibly helpful in finding key outlets and generating media lists for campaigns and releases. They keep the website easy to use and simple, allowing my team to research and contact the right people. They are fairly good at keeping the page updated, as individuals change outlets very often in this industry.
What do you dislike about the product?
Meltwater should make it easier to find outlets and editors based on their column or focus, for example sports editors. While I'm certain they have some capacity to do so, there must be a way to simplify this step and make it easier to generate these names and outlets.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Helping to find contacts, their information, relevant outlets and valuable information such as UVM and circulation. This saves a lot of time on my end and allows our team to stay organized and updated.
Klear is an easy tool to use. From prospecting, to engagement, to measurement - it does it all.
What do you like best about the product?
Connecting with influencers digitally and handling contracts.
What do you dislike about the product?
At times, prospecting can be difficult. It works best for national campaigns instead of local ones.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Takes a lot of time out of influencer campaigns. No need to desk research and scroll endlessly to find a prospect.
A full stack 360 influencer tool
What do you like best about the product?
We've been using KLEAR for a year now (we just renewed our license) as it offers both social media analytics and social media listening to our roster of celebrities in the organization. It makes our brand sponsorship a little extra now that we can just toggle campaign reports in one click.. automatically!! It gives us clearer direction and how we can use the data to pitch our artist on a more profound perspective to the advertisers.
What do you dislike about the product?
The Philippines is a mobile-first-centric country, and we want our work to be accessible anywhere we want, so maybe a mobile application to handle information in real-time is necessary? It is an excellent communication channel between us and our end users or clients.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
1. It gives us a CLEAR view of the artists' data in one look
2. It helps us track artists' mentions all throughout their accounts to grasp the sentiments of their fans
3. It builds more credibility for the company to acquire KLEAR as a tool when presenting to the advertisers

Good but not Great.
What do you like best about the product?
The data provided by the software, the analytical ability provided by said data, and the way it's all served in a dashboard. It helps with business objectives and tracking paid media.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's not as simple to export reports and data as it is with other similar softwares. There are a lot of bugs in regard to tracking/mapping influencer properties.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
KLEAR allows me to track all of my paid media, source new talents and properties for paid campaigns, and the software helps to track it all once the campaign has launched.
Informed Decisions
What do you like best about the product?
Allows us to make data backed decisions, for a more calculated risk. Appreciate easy to read dashboard, so information can gathered in the moment. I have not worked with competitors.
What do you dislike about the product?
Customer Service timing needs work. The platform can be glitchy which creates frustration. We really need the addition of YouTube to happen or it won't be enough of a 360 degree look that we need.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We needed a platform to help us navigate this world of Influencers, allowing us to know their stats and whether working together would make business sense.
It is great for all affiliate and influencer marketers

It is easier to use than comps and allows for me to work more efficiently

Price is high, but it is a very good piece of software.

Some Useful Features, but Also Room to Improve
What do you like best about the product?
I really enjoy using Klear for social monitoring, I think this is one of the best tools that Klear offers. It allows us to keep tabs on what's happening in our area and within our network.
What do you dislike about the product?
I tried to use Klear for an influencer campaign but it was very difficult to search for influencers who met all of our specific requirements and within our niche and budget.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Klear is helping us stay on top of industry updates and news without having to do the manual work ourselves, which is very helpful.

What do you like best about the product?
Klear makes it very easy to send contracts to influencers and for them to submit their content for approval.
What do you dislike about the product?
Profiles not being up to date for influencers. It will show influencers live in a certain state but they might have not lived their for a couple years.
