Docebo’s interface is intuitive, and its modular structure makes it easy to build and manage learning paths across different teams and employee levels. The platform supports a wide range of content types, from SCORM packages to video and micro-learning, which allows us to deliver engaging training experiences. The automation features, like user provisioning and notifications, have also saved us a significant amount of admin time. Additionally, the analytics dashboard provides valuable insights into learner progress and engagement.
What do you dislike about the product?
While Docebo is powerful, there is a noticeable learning curve to fully unlock its capabilities, especially for non-technical admins. Some customizations require deeper knowledge or additional services, and at times the platform can feel overly complex for basic use cases. Reporting, although robust, can sometimes be tedious to extract in formats that are easy to share externally. Lastly, customer support response times can vary depending on the severity of the issue, which can slow down troubleshooting.

I find the page builder feature of Docebo incredibly valuable and essential. It allows me to create customized dashboards tailored to different audiences using its drag and drop widgets. This feature enables me to highlight priority courses, showcase recommended content, and organize the interface effectively to ensure learners don't get confused. The ability to personalize the experience with separate dashboards for new employees, managers, and external learners creates a more guided and personalized experience. Additionally, the page builder lets me brand the platform and make navigation much clearer, greatly enhancing the overall user experience.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find that the reporting and analytics section of Docebo is limited and not intuitive. It sometimes requires me to combine multiple reports to extract simple insights. Additionally, the mobile app needs improvement in both UI and functionality. Although the support is helpful, the response from the help desk can be slow, even for simple issues.

This can make the total cost of ownership quite high compared to some competitors, and it feels like certain core administrative functions (like advanced Instructor-Led Training/ILT session management or nuanced reporting for collaborative tools) could be more streamlined without needing custom CSS workarounds.

What do you like best about the product?
The platform lets us create learning experiences that feel personalized for different types of users, so training feels useful instead of just another chore. It has all the important tools we need and can be customized a lot, from making our own pages to adding different widgets. The support team is helpful and always willing to adjust things to fit our needs. We compared many LMS options, but we chose this one because it is flexible, easy to use, and full of features and even after a year, we still feel we made the right choice.
What do you dislike about the product?
Because Docebo is a big platform and we are a smaller customer, it is hard to get direct guidance from their product experts, and support tickets are not always enough for bigger projects.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Docebo has helped us bring all our learning and exam related training into one place, which removes the confusion of using multiple tools. It lets us create different learning paths for students, teachers, and exam staff so everyone gets exactly what they need. The reporting tools make it easy to track who is ready for exams and where support is needed. Overall, it has saved us a lot of manual work and made our exam and coaching operations run much smoother.

I love Docebo's auto tagging feature, as it systematically tags learning content, enhances organization and searchability, saves time, and boosts learner efficiency significantly. The gamification feature is another aspect I truly appreciate since it makes the learning process more engaging and interactive, motivating users to participate more actively. Additionally, Docebo's learning plans are incredibly beneficial as they present users' progress clearly and effectively, making it easy to track their development and understand what still needs to be completed. I find the ease of use of these features to be outstanding, contributing to an overall positive experience with the platform.
What do you dislike about the product?
I am dissatisfied with the certificate templates in Docebo. They are poorly designed and do not meet my requirements. Additionally, the level of customization is very limited, which hinders our ability to provide a personal touch in the certification process. Also, the initial setup of Docebo proved challenging. We found it difficult enough that we had to hire external help to get it set up, indicating a need for a more user-friendly setup process or better onboarding support.

The performance tracking feature stands out as well, as it enables effective monitoring of employee progress and supports making well-informed recommendations for additional training to further enhance skills and productivity. The dashboard offers a clear, user-friendly overview, making it simple to access up-to-date information. Docebo’s customizable options mean that solutions can be tailored to fit a company’s unique requirements, setting it apart from more generic tools.
