Excellent tool for tracking companies - customers or competitors - and new public information
What do you like best about the product?
AlphaSense dashboards make it easy to see everything in one place and customize your feed. I use it every month to generate a market insights newsletter. Customer service is excellent and they helped me set up all the alerts I need.
What do you dislike about the product?
Limited to public information - like a Google alert. Hard to share articles to non-subscribers

AlphaSense is solving the problem of being able to monitor public information about our customers and our competitors in one place
'Doubt-defying Market Intelligence Here and Now'
What do you like best about the product?
We like a lot about it and here's why. This revolutionary research app is fast becoming one of our go-to's for market intelligence that eliminates corporate strategy doubts on every campaign. It's a sure bet for the research and solutions we need, time and again ensuring we conquer and succeed with game-changing data-driven decisions. It's easy-to-use, gives us the answers we need faster, thanks to its outstanding content playground, real-time updates, generative AI, expert insights and product experts. No more uncertainty!
What do you dislike about the product?
As its still relatively new, it's collaboration and visualization tools are limited. It's filters don't work that well too. But good thing the platform has a responsive team which helps us with such challenges. It will get better.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The Platform has become useful to us with its reliable and very extensive and premium content/data. Makes our search for fast answers and market intelligence absolutely a breeze. It's increasingly becoming an app we rely on to make strategic decisions driven by rich daya that are enabling us stay ahead of competition.
AlphaSense / Sanofi partnership
What do you like best about the product?
I particularly like the clear layout and user interface. The workspace and results panels are clearly deliniated and which function works in which panel is easy to understand.
The partnership with our AlphaSense team, product specialist/customer success Catalina Ruiz-Jimenez is currently our key person to go to - invaluable support and guidance/suggestions.
I don't think there is a feature that is missing. My internal clients really like the ability to export charts and tables in excel format. Being able to share a summary pdf with another user that has AlphaSense account is a very efficient and powerful feature.
I use AlphaSense - every day and throughout the day not just once.

What do you dislike about the product?
I would like to have more control on my user prefernces and keep them 'turned on' . I am always unchecking the default formats for downloading (I am never going to want the snippet highlighted) and I am never going to want the sentiments on in the output report. In my position that creates bias. I understand the value of the feature and appreciate it but I won't be using it. So I'd like to not have to turn it off each time. Also the default so all company mentions vs only primary mentions. I'd like to be forcused first then go broader if necessary but the default is all.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Maintaining our competitive advantage. Competitive Intelligence. Very timely, real time information. We are watching competitors activities and analysts views on specific assests (ours and the competition) and the broader market areas.
AlphaSense provides an easy and rapid way to access data from various sources saving time.
What do you like best about the product?
The upside to AlphaSense is the constant growth of the application allowing easier ways to capture the information. In addition, the support team is great and always willing to help teach new applications, answer questions and even help with searches.
What do you dislike about the product?
I really can't think of a downside to AlphaSense.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
AlphaSense provides data, references and graphics which I can then apply to apply this intel for our strategy builds.
The Ultimate Time Saving Search Tool for Company Documents
What do you like best about the product?
Ability to search through transcripts/presentations. Sometimes it finds presentations that are not readily available from company IR pages.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing - solid product. Maybe wish the notes/folder tool was more practical/functional/smart (AI driven).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Quickly accessing information from companies under coverage and their peers.

The depth and variety of information - makes searching simple, great AI summarization tool to distill the insights. The customer support teams are highly responsive and skilled at what they do. Easy to set up and create reports

Easy to get lost in so much data! Other than that - nothing to dislike

Building an empire, but product isn't better
What do you like best about the product?
The core platform function is still useful. I like that you can feed a high volume of data sources into Alphasense and search across it, allowing you to go deep in a company or topic. The library of expert call transcripts is valuable, and it's nice to be able to search through those results as well.
What do you dislike about the product?
Alphasense keeps acquiring their biggest competitors (Sentio, Tegus) and then gutting the product. Tegus was a fantastic standalone platform - BamSEC was an incredible product because it was simple and it just worked - but when AS acquired it, they didn't port over all the same useful features. Feels like they're trying to build an empire that can be broadly applicable to anyone in finance, and broadening the focus so significantly has diluted the core strength of the product.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The Expert Interview library is wide and vast, and the search interface allows me to look across companies and industries to see different views on a research topic.
Saves me countless hours of manual research. Fast, effective and easy to use.
What do you like best about the product?
Programmed automatic alerts, the depth of research and expert interviews available, the ability to navigate through useful hyperlinks.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is not much I do not like about the AlphaSense platform.

Solving problem of providing organized research and insights into companies and industries covered by my team. Provides me with real-time updates on key sector developments.

What do you like best about the product?
Great support from AlphaSense experts, and user-friendly interface.
What do you dislike about the product?
nothing really comes to mind, but could be good to have more data exporting features direcly to excel

Saving me time to read through all reports, and being able have high level sythesized information.
