Game Changing Time Saving Tool
What do you like best about the product?
The scope of searchable documents and advanced search functionality, user friendly graphical interface, excellent tool for idea generation and investment monitoring
What do you dislike about the product?
would like to have a way to search for industry and thematic research pieces separately

Fixed income investment research - save time, uncover new materials for due diligence, be more efficient in taking in a large amount of data
Essential tool for Equity Research
What do you like best about the product?
Best feature of AlphaSense is to be able to quickly go through similar tables in different filings. Also easiest way to find past earnings transcrips.
What do you dislike about the product?
Really isn't anything not to like. AlphaSense has made my job much easier.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Reduces modeling time.

I am able to comparative disclosures for anything new that I need to disclose.
Great experience, simplifies secondary reserach
What do you like best about the product?
Search feature is great because you can type two or more somewhat related words and it will still find those results across analyst reports, market news, 10-ks etc.
What do you dislike about the product?
Information on private companies is limited obviously but any additional information there could be helpful.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The main problem I am looking to solve with Alphasense is having a one-stop-shop for all secondary research needs for an industry or company. We have access to various sources but getting to those website, inputting the same information over and over and then finidng relevant articles / reports takes a very long time compared to the Alphasense experience.

What do you like best about the product?
Alphasense has become a favorite resource of mine due to the ability to source information across a wide variety of sources in a highly time-efficient manner. The search functionality allows me to quickly refine the materials I need to review to enable analyses or inform strategic thinking. Other features, such as the ability to export tables into Excel, also help expedite tasks I need to conduct in my role, allowing me more time to develop key insights.
What do you dislike about the product?
Adding public data sources such as clinicaltrials.gov and PubMed will offer greater opportunity to consolidate to research efforts into a single comprehensive platform.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Alphasense has accelerated our ability to review, analyze and summarize information across a wide variety of sources as we look to assess products, development programs and companies in the biopharma space.
A time-saving, powerful search engine for financial documents/transcripts
What do you like best about the product?
The search functionality is very dynamic, helping you to find exactly what you are looking for quickly. I also love the website itself with the different panes to simultaneously show search results at the document level, then each of the results within the document, and then a large window showing the result with all of the context around it.
What do you dislike about the product?
My only gripe is that I want more content brought into the tool. Sometimes company presentations or other public event transcripts aren't always included in results. I would also love to see clinicaltrials.gov information easily searchable within this tool (I work in the pharma/biotechnology industry).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's really a time-saver. I use AlphaSense to research specific things being said by our competitors, and even sometimes to verify things that our own company has said publicly in the past. Before AlphaSense, I would do the same things by going to individual competitor websites and trying to find what I was looking for that way. This tool saves me a ton of time.
Timely results that cut through the noise
What do you like best about the product?
AlphaSense alerts come through before company IR alerts come through, so I know I'm always getting the most up to date information. Their search and alert criteria ensure I get only relevant results - AlphaSense does the sorting and synthesis for me so I can spend my time on analysis and action.
What do you dislike about the product?
If you don't customize your alerts well, you can get some noise in the results, but the help team is responsive and can help you customize the settings so that you only get the results that push your work forward.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Competitive intelligence, therapeutic area monitoring, competitor updates, conference transcripts - all in one place, saves time from having to use web search to find what I need.

Utilize the source types when looking for information; specifying the source is a huge time saver to return the most useful results

What do you like best about the product?
AlphaSense enables a) current and potential investors to make better investment decisions; and b) corporate employees and their advisors to improve corporate performance.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't dislike anything. AlphaSense continues to develop their product to make it easier to use and with more functionality.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
AlphaSense enables corporate employees and their advisors (management consultants, investment banks, lenders, rating agencies, ESG, etc.) to remain informed real-time about how customers, suppliers, and competitors are performing; how their short- and long-term outlooks are changing; and if the reasons for their changes in outlook are due to macro factors or to changes in their own products, services, and costs. This enables the AlphaSense user to be of significantly increased value to their company's sales/marketing, procurement, operations, strategic planning, budgeting/forecasting, M&A, and relations with equity and debt investors, banks, and rating agencies.
AlphaSense enables current and potential investors and their advisors (research analysts, rating agencies, proxy advisors, etc.) to remain advised of and quickly locate all statements made by companies, competitors, supply chain participants, and research analysts that impact valuation models.
