Good Research Tool
What do you like best about the product?
Easy to use, have lots of materials. Good customer support.

Will be great if have a desk top verison to easy open.

Best software for IR
What do you like best about the product?
Alphasense is unique in its ability to scrape and find various keywords, trends, data across publicly available documents. Ad hoc projects that use to take hours and hours to find data through available documents are now easily done in an hour or two. Plus the wide access to sell-side research is incredible and unparalleled.
What do you dislike about the product?
Research use is a little hard to track, you have to ask how much research you have downloaded and how much you have left.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Alphasense is helping me quickly find out what our peers or other companies are doing around difficult to find numbers and subjects. For example, if I want to find out what a list of companies said about interest rates in their last earnings call, it would take me hours to comb through and find out the key takeaways from their transcripts. With Alphasense, it would take me 15 min to find the key takeaways I need. It's a massive time save.

Solving the time crunch of having to individually search multiple transcripts or earnings releases for comparable data

What do you like best about the product?
The most helpful tools of AlphaSense would be GenAI, Depth of Aftermarket Research and Expert Calls.
What do you dislike about the product?
The web platform can be troublesome at times, as it doesnt save my notes nor refresh in certain moments. I would also like if the calendar would reflect other information such as FDA dates for Biotechnology stocks.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
AlphaSense is helping me solve the gap in Qualitative research within my analysis as prior to this I was constricted to Quantitaive research. Furthermore it has helped with idea generation, the vast levels of Aftermarket Rsearch and Expert calls has supported finding new ideas. Finally Generative Search function as support the speed at which I can generate analysis for my different reports.
Best-in-class search with soon-to-be largest transcript library
What do you like best about the product?
The combination of research, filing, web search, and expert transcripts with the LLM / generative search capability is a solution unlike any other available in the market. It is a massive efficiency unlock in terms of getting smart on an industry or sector. We use it almost every day.

What do you dislike about the product?
The audio functionality is not good. There is audio frequently missing from calls. If the audio is available, it is not anonymized as with Tegus.
Additionally - there are some small features that need UI tweaks. If you generative search on mobile and it cites a transcript, you can get a preview of the transcript pulled up from the generative search page, but there is no way to actually open the transcript properly.
The transcript library used to be small, but will probably be rectified with the Tegus acquisition.
The price is a bit rich, but I guess that's what you have to pay for best-of-breed.
These are mostly minor points (other than price), but I hope they address them soon.

We need to become smart on new businesses and sectors rapidly and understand what is going on - AlphaSense helps us do that faster and more quickly than anything else.
The product has been great for what we need.
What do you like best about the product?
I appreciate the ability to access market insights not otherwise available at your fingertips the way AlphaSense enables. Furthermore, we have access to information that we wouldn't have through normal Google or AI searches. Lastly, the new AI features, especially the summary reports, are appreciated.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's a bit costly, bordering on prohibitive for small or mid-sized companies. I think AlphaSense is acutely aware of who their core customer is and what the value is to that customer so I wouldn't expect a pricing change, but it is costly for a company our size.

We have deeper insights into niche industries we serve than we otherwise would. It benefits us by informing business decisions and informing the consultative nature of our business model.

What do you like best about the product?
It allows me to easily keep track of companies I follow. It's my one-stop shop for financial updates and transcripts. But it also allows me to do targeted research on specific topics. For instance, AlphaSense can help me answer questions such as, how many times did the companies I track mention inflation on their recent earnings calls?
What do you dislike about the product?
It has so many features that it can be complicated to use at first. I probably have only scratched the surface of everything it can do.

Tracking financial information about disparate companies that I follow as part of my job as a business journalist.
"A Breakthrough for Marketing Analysis."
What do you like best about the product?
It's comprehensive database structure that covers a broad variety of information such as articles, publications and conference calls.They enable people to obtain quality facts on only one platform.
What do you dislike about the product?
The user-interface is more confusing and not user friendly as I was hoping for and that as a result it leads to a lengthy learning.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Decision making whereby it merges and a variety of data into a single system to help companies make good decisions based on information available.
Great AI tool for market research
What do you like best about the product?
AlphaSense is a very complete platform, giving me access to reports from companies and investment analysts fast accurately. In our job of market intelligence we use AlphaSense at least every month for every report. Their AI tool helps to expedite my job by helping with the analysis of texts and giving automatic outlooks of companies, which is easy to use and makes onbording new team members easy as well. AlphaSense customer service is always ready to help and we have many touchpoints through the year. Implementation is also easy since the AlphaSense team offer courses and training sessions.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's not always easy to integrate the collaborative tools in our internal processes. We still need more discipline to use the notebooks properly and it's something that could have more features to facilitate collaboration in more intuitive ways.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
AlphaSense solves the problem of having to look for and digest market information from multiple sources. It benefits us by saving a lot of time of research and reading since the AI search and summary tools do a lot of the heavy lifting.
Excellent tool for tracking companies - customers or competitors - and new public information
What do you like best about the product?
AlphaSense dashboards make it easy to see everything in one place and customize your feed. I use it every month to generate a market insights newsletter. Customer service is excellent and they helped me set up all the alerts I need.
What do you dislike about the product?
Limited to public information - like a Google alert. Hard to share articles to non-subscribers
