Outsystems: Accelerate your business apps

  • August 04, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The platform is very robust without compromising on customisation or pixel-perfect. It is also developer-oriented: it facilitates all steps of the application lifecycle from a technical and management point of view, unifying the tasks involved in development and ensuring optimal technical quality with its own tools.
What do you dislike about the product?
My biggest concern with Outsystems is the new platform, ODC. There is no clear plan to migrate to the new platform. In fact the company itself has announced that they are going to give up on their idea to stop supporting OS11, as the new platform is not yet ready to support all the functionalities that we already have and work perfectly on OS11.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Right now, Outsystems allows us to mitigate a big gap that exists in our company: The adaptability to new requirements in a business-demanding way. It is common for our businesses to have to adapt to new requirements due to changes in the environment, regulations or market environments, and therefore they need a sufficiently flexible solution that favours time-to-market.

OutSystems Hands-on experienced Review

  • June 04, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Low code, with drag and drop features, that help to develop the logic faster and can also make reusable components.
What do you dislike about the product?
No free integration with 3rd party application for sending SMS, for Native custom Datepicker, have to do it manually using code.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Debugging is easy, so the root cause of finding error is easy.

Outsystems - A Leading Low Code Application

  • June 01, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Outsystems is one of the tool that gives developers to develop an application in a visual way. we can see the application real time while developing the application.

This approach significantly reduces the time and effort required to build applications, enabling faster delivery of solutions to meet business needs.

Developers can create applications that work across different operating systems and devices, including web and mobile platforms. This cross-platform capability ensures a wider reach and consistent user experience across various devices.

Developers can create applications that work across different operating systems and devices, including web and mobile platforms. This cross-platform capability ensures a wider reach and consistent user experience across various devices. so just one application can run of all devices, including responsiveness of application.
What do you dislike about the product?
OutSystems' pricing can be prohibitive, especially for smaller businesses or individual developers. The base price often doesn't cover a full enterprise application, and costs are typically geared toward larger organizations, making it challenging for smaller applications to justify the expense.

while the large budget project can only afford the OutSystems technology.

On the other hand, the support for developers is somewhat limited within the community itself. for the IOS application it is somehow lacking the completed development functionality.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Currently every business need their tech problem solution in minimum time. that's where the outsystems comes in picture. with business requirement we can develop a complete application ready for the deployment to the end users. it has functionality to do real time changes for the end users so that tech business don't need deployment for each small changes.

Great tool for non-tech industry fighting for scarce tech talents

  • March 18, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
OutSystems has provisioned all necessary toolbox required for a full stack development pipeline, saving significant manhours in setting up, maintaining and finetuning CI/CD pipeline, conducting performance monitoring, and software code review. This is great news for non-tech industry that is trying to digitalise its business, as we are fighting for scare talent with digital native giants, and outsystems allows us to build and scale with rather small tech resources.
What do you dislike about the product?
The new ODC has yet matched all functionalities of existing OutSystems 11.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
OutSystems has been the backbone of our company's back office digitalisation, which includes transformation of our HR, Finance, Corp Logistics, and many other corporate "highway" processes. It creates significant cost saving and user experience improvement in our back office eco-systems.

    Financial Services

You can build applications easily, with O11 it isn't state-of-the-art, but with ODC it should be.

What do you like best about the product?
Create your UI quickly and easily, for example, a REST API, without the extra clutter found in high-code environments.
What do you dislike about the product?
Pricing, Branching/build on the repository. Good manuals for creating the right architecture. I want to do more with templating, e.g., in designing a skeleton for timers. Not up to date compared to high code. The default reply for support cases.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Digitalizing processes. Rapid Application Development.
