My favorite web tool of all time
What do you like best about the product?
The simplicity and at the same time having the possibility to design websites professionally. Webflow University is incredibly qualitative and also a lot of fun to watch.
What do you dislike about the product?
Really nothing. Although the different packages and prices are not quite trivial to understand.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Develop outstanding websites without much effort.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Just try it out and watch the Webflow University videos!
Expensive for a single site, but an excellent solution for managing multiple bespoke sites.
What do you like best about the product?
I love the fine control over interactions and animations that are available to customise.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike that I cannot pay for a site outright. Having to restart my subscription just to make a change and export my code is not very fun. Also an active subscription is required for the forms to work, and the forms do not work on non-Webflow servers.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Fine interaction design is solved easily in Webflow. There simply isn't anything as good on the market for ease-of-use and speed.
Best alternative to Wordpress, indispensable no-code software
What do you like best about the product?
Super friendly and way better than Wordpress when it comes to the pros
Fast hosting and freedom of design
Many integrations
So many templates and cloneables to speed up the process

What do you dislike about the product?
Pricing for e-commerce is too high, plus its not easily editable once you create an e-commerce page you can't delete it.
Not suitable for all the use cases and it gets very pricey to customize it

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Making websites for clients is easier now since you just hand off the billing to them and webflow makes this swift. Ease of turning figma or mokcups into a pixel perfect design with granular editing . So many inspirations from the huge community since it belongs to a bigger community which is the no-code
Not my favourite CMS
What do you like best about the product?
It's easy to login and to hit save or publish on new content.
What do you dislike about the product?
It doesn't look great, it's hard to navigate, it's easy to make mistakes, it's dark and not as intuitive as other CMS platforms, which feel more like document editing and I prefer that.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We had to transition away from Hubspot, mostly for cost reasons, but also the tech stack was changing and Webflow provided a better integration with Pardot and SFDC.
Amazing Personalization and Testing Platform
What do you like best about the product?
The way Intellimize uses machine learning to split traffic between test variations has yielded significant performance increases. We typically optimize on complete purchases and page progression and with Intellimizes help our site conversion rate has increased 50%.
What do you dislike about the product?
The platform is a little confusing, but only because there are so many features and advanced functionality that make it stand out.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are improving both the customer journey and also the purchase funnel. Intellimize has allowed us to reduce friction and deliver a better experience to customers.
Webflow is building the bridge between design and code
What do you like best about the product?
Webflow's code is set up in a way that components of a website are easy to reuse (copy & paste) and also work in other projects! It takes a way a lot of manual work (like optimizing code for page speed) and lets low-code users create stunning websites by visualizing every aspect of HTML & CSS in an intuitive interface.
There are extensive Webflow tutorials available to get even no-code users started. It is a great bridge where a developer can meet with a designer and both can build a product on common ground.

What do you dislike about the product?
I would love a bigger template library. While there are already a lot of templates around, the variety still doesn't match up with other template competitors (e.g. Envato).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I build websites of different scale for all of my freelance clients. It is extremely easy to hand off and the CMS-approach of Webflow saves my clients a lot of work and stress. If they need to change some contents and are in a rush, they can do it swiftly on their own!
Recommendations to others considering the product:
For no-code users I suggest starting out with a template (there are also free ones available for many occasions) to have a starting point. Then insert the contents into the template to get yourself familiar with Webflow. Then you can start experimenting with the styling of your website (e.g. insert brand colors) to get a feel for the whole software. This way you can easily build a website in no time!
Personal Webflow user
What do you like best about the product?
I love how Webflow allows a lot of customization within each template. You can start from scratch or use a preexisting template for easier use. The templates are easy to start from and use. In addition, the page animations are really cool and make the website feel premium.
What do you dislike about the product?
I do not like how the program is hard to use at times. It is way less intuitive than other website building programs, but does not matter if you have any sort of coding background. That being said, if you know how to code this is a great program to use. Another thing that I dislike is that the hosting itself is pretty expensive (compared to other programs that are free or cost less).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Webflow personally to host my own portfolio website. I like how it feels distinct and customized without looking messy. In addition, I am able to personalize all aspects of the website to fit my own look and feel.
Very hard to use unless you're an experienced designer
What do you like best about the product?
At the beginning, I was impressed with all the website templates.
What do you dislike about the product?
- Takes a very long time to learn how to use
- Webflow offers very little support for customers in navigating their tool, and charges for training
- It just doesn't make sense, you have to google how to do seemingly basic actions and the suggestions are hit or miss
- Because there is no support other than articles, when there is a software bug or you are stuck - you are totally on your own (which can be very stressful when this is a site that your customers are using regularity)

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I was solving the problem of not having a website. I have honestly not realized any benefits, I've only realized how poor the tool is.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you love Webflow, great. If you've recently begun using it and you're finding it confusing, I'd recommend cutting your losses and moving to another product.
