excellent tool for comprehensive Enterprise Architecture practice
What do you like best about the product?
The BizzDesign offers a very deep set of features for documenting your Enterprise Architecture. From Technological to Risk, Strategic and Capabilities perspective, you can find your view of the EA.
The enhanced experience of navigation and contribution to the EA via browser is very well appreciated in our team.
I suggest to take your implementation path step-by-step, with the help of the customer support, for best results. Since it is so deep, you better have a short implementation cycle, targeting at single aspect at each step.
The integration is quite simple with Service Now, as the import/export features with excel or databases.
Our architecture team use the tool daily for reporting, drawings, and impact analysis. Our service management team are satisfied with the easy navigation of the interface.

Take your time to experience one layer at a time, since the number of features can be overwhelming at first, while you will appreciate that at your milestones.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
First, we designed a technological landscape view on over 140 application services, with comprehensive view over infrastructure and SW versions for impact and root cause analysis.

Most prominent architecture and modelling tool in the market
What do you like best about the product?
I love to model the processes in Bizzdesign. It's easy to create the process hierarhcy, that is top-down from L1 to L7 depending upon your organization taxonomy using various different models present in the tool. Also, a great tool for modelling BPMN processes. In addition to this, we do have the options to write the scripts and automate few of the tasks, which I personally feel the best option available in the market.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some symbols in BPMN modelling are missing. For e.g. text annotation is not there, though they have given another way to do it, but I personally don't like it. Similar, in boundary events as well, we have limited set of symbols. Also, we cannot defined our set of rules, which will perform semantic check automatically.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
For me, for my client, we are creating the entire process hierarchy in the tool and therfore it is acting like a process reporsioty whereas everyone from the organization can view them very easily in it's front-end tool Horizzon
An enterprise tool which companies can consider for their betterment
What do you like best about the product?
Best thing about them is their customer support. Yes, I have to interact with them very frequently but everytime I get the help on time and on demand as well.
For the starters, They have good UI for modelling BPMN level process maps. It's very easy to create the process hierarchy using Archimate, not complicated as we create in ARIS using VACD.
The other diagrams showcaing capabilities, applications, data flow, stakeholders are awesome. In short they have good things to display the entire PPDS. Also, the installation is quite easy at the enterprise level, as now-a-days eveyone hosts on cloud, and it's easy to get the connection directly form your enterprise network.

It's a heavy tool, offcourse it has to be due to so many feature they provide, but still I feel the tool is little slow. Even their web-version doesn't work so great. I use i7 machine, but I think I need to either get my system updated in case if I need a faster Bizzdesign.
If they solve this issue, I think it will save me minimum 10 hours in my week.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
For me everything which you think is possible in enterprise architecture, but if I have to choose one, it will be the dedicated process repository for the entire organization .

All the connectivities that can be done.

THe UI. it is not very intutive. i would love to make it more intutive and not hop too many pages.

This is givein overall architecture and things to be related to. it makes the design clearer.

Can be byzantine to understand the various in-depth capabailities and how they are distributed across Enterprise Studo versus Horizzon. Simple version control is a case in point.

What do you like best about the product?
Best thing I like about the tool is it's modelling capabilities and to define the process hierarchy, it's so simple and easy. Archimates defined the upper high-level in the right way followed by BPMN process maps exactly matches our needs. Easy to install, easy to give KT and the best part, the web-version is so light in case if anyone doesn't want to install the desktop version. Also, heard that it integrates with lot of tools, will be exploring soon it's integration with ServiceNow. ecisted to see two-way integration as they promote. Also, they have a good customer support, they reply generally in a day.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not happy much with the way change request are handled in the tool. There should be mechanism, in case if any stakeholders have any issue with the process maps or the hierarchy, they can raise the dispute and based on it's seriousness, the hierarchy or process should not be visible to others till the issue is resolved.

Modelling comes with Archimate standard & enable us to expand to other modelling framework such as BPMN & UML.
HoriZZon portal is quite powerful especially when showing architecture works to other stakeholder

Enterprise Studio is still based client-application, needs to be a web browser-based.

The most helpful feature of Bizzdesign is that, the whole organization can be accustomed under a single umbrella.
No more explicit mapping for different entites, no more extensive renaming reviews, just a look at Bizzdesign before designing solves it all in the long run.
I used it for the first time, and it was soo good that I got my whole team of 50+ developers to use it, and most of us use it everyday.
It can be easily integrated into any of our systems, and used thereafter !
Really easy, convenient and a lifesaver for us.
No more explicit mapping for different entites, no more extensive renaming reviews, just a look at Bizzdesign before designing solves it all in the long run.

The only thing that can be improved is the loading time between different views, and if possible, can we have the different view load in the same page somehow ? so that we don't have to go back to see the previous one.

So what used to happen, each team had its own version of a product, and if it needed to be shared with another team, then we'd have a huge headache of mapping, renaming to bring all of them under the same umbrella.

So now no more headaches, only seamless integrations !!
