Easy Database to use!
What do you like best about the product?
Network for Good has made my job easy - from recording donations, thanking donors, creating campaigns, and pulling past donor reports. This is the best database I have ever used in my 20+ years!
What do you dislike about the product?
Steps could be a bit easier on setting up emails to go out, as well as setting up customized email lists.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are working on getting more monthly donors and have developed a great strategy to do so.
NFG is a user friendly platform that enables us to to stay connected, and raise support.
What do you like best about the product?
How easy it is to use. I can tell the creators had experience in non profit fundraising.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish there was a way to shoot a video and or use a video and dump right into an email template.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Communication is a breeze with NFG. We are able to stay connected to our audience.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
We evaluated many and found that NFG checked all the boxes for us.
Highly recomment
What do you like best about the product?
The best thing I like is the campaign page. It allows you to easily set up a campaign and market it.
What do you dislike about the product?
There's nothing that I really dislike, there's just a lot to learn.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The benefits of setting up these campaigns is to show value for the services you provide and ask for funding.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
This is a good product. If you fundraise for your organization you should consider it.
Perfect fit for our Organization!
What do you like best about the product?
One of the many upsides to using NFG is the ease of use. The platform is user-friendly for all comfort levels of the staff.
What do you dislike about the product?
We have not yet faced any downside to NFG.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are able to reach new donors that would have previously been impossible.
User friendly and robust donor management system
What do you like best about the product?
This is the first time that our small nonprofit organization has adopted a donor management system. We do not have an Executive Director of Director of Development and were concerned about the amount of time we would be able to dedicate to using the system. It is VERY easy and robust to use and has not taken up an immense amount of our time. We have already started to see a return on the investment.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only that I dislike about the NFG donor management system is not having the ability to instantly post electronic communications to our social media sites. This is a function that we have used in the past with MailChimp and wish that we could utilize it with the NFG system.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The NFG donor management system has allowed us to track our donors and to keep in regular contact. The communications offered in the system are professional and the templates have been a lifesaver for us because we do not have full-time staff marketing and development staff.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I recommend giving the NFG donor management system a try. It is well worth the cost.
Good for starters, but lacks key features for larger orgs/more complex needs
What do you like best about the product?
Mostly user friendly interface, good visualizations.
What do you dislike about the product?
Lacks many useful integrations and lacks the specialization technology to really stand up to full-fledged development use.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
NFG is a solid CRM that can handle gift recognition and tracking well, and we've used it for a few years for those purposes.
FourTime User Here...Love Network for Good
What do you like best about the product?
I love the ease of use, the ability to migrate data and the interface. We are definitely communicating with our donors and others on a more regular basis. As a fan, I have been able to convince three additional organizations that I work with to invest in Network for Good.
What do you dislike about the product?
I do wish there was an option for better tracking of sponsors. Currently, it is a bit bumpy when developing an event with sponsorship levels. Workarounds are there but a "sponsorship" module would be a great addition.
Currently, your policy is to only work with 501 (c)3 organizations. You might benefit from making your organization available to member groups, too, as they often have "do good" programming under their umbrella of work. Some examples are Elks Clubs, Fraternal Orders of Police, Rotary clubs, etc.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
One of my organizations is brand new. Having Network for Good from the beginning is definitely going to help us track our fundraising and communication trends.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
The Network for Good team is very helpful and responsive. There are plenty of knowledge base resources.
Network for Good for the WIN!
What do you like best about the product?
I love that Network for Good allows me easy access to our donor data. With the click of a button, I can see who gave, how much and how often.
What do you dislike about the product?
It is a bit spendy but other than that, I have no dislikes!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I can thank our donors promptly with a personalize letter. I have info at my fingertips to show me what donors give, how often they give and when they give. I can also generate email easily and have it sent quickly. We have seen an increase in our donations because of Network for Good.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Utilize the customer service features and consider paying the extra funds for the coaching. :-)
Network for Good is very helpful to us!
What do you like best about the product?
We can easily keep track of all of the donations that come in to our business. It is very user friendly and easy to learn. We write letters every month to thank our donors and can send them via mail, email or even video and it is very easy to keep track of everything. We also use it to send out year end statements to donors. The graphs provide easy viewing of giving and information over time.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only thing we have ever had a problem with is formatting of letters (spacing changes) after we have written them but it was easily fixed by customer service using the chat option.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Bonterra fundraising lets us easily write letters to mail out or email to raise money and awareness for our company. It has been very beneficial to our company and easy to use so that we can communicate with our donors in an easy, manageable fashion. We also use it to log in all of our donations and send out tax statements at the end of the year as well as monthly thank you letters and receipts.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
This is a great software if you are looking for a user friendly software to keep track of donations and for donor support services.
Network for Good: We Switched
What do you like best about the product?
It might be a good place for a non-profit to start from, but we outgrew it.
What do you dislike about the product?
It had a very old feeling to it. It didn't have as many features as the competitors, and we just couldn't continue paying for a service that was so limited and clunky.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We were using it only for donation management.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Look at your other options first. We ended up switching to Neon CRM, because it offered more modern features and services.
