Best fundraising tool for a startup nonprofit
What do you like best about the product?
Network for Good is easy to use and presents a professional image for our donors. Setting up a fundraising campaign is very easy and adds legitimacy to our fundraising. As a nonprofit getting started, with no other staff yet, having all aspects of fundraising handled by a single solution is priceless!
What do you dislike about the product?
I'll let you know when I find something I don't like.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Previously we had no fundraising system or process in place. Once we implemented Network for Good and created several campaigns we began to receive donations! The only thing we had to do was send the link out in a mailing to our contacts describing a project.
Great donor management system and peer to peer giving platform for the price
What do you like best about the product?
Straight forward record keeping. Customer service is top-notch. Very user friendly.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only downside is the inability to run a report on soft credits and assign in bulk through import, but we have found an easy workaround. Also had can not assign contacts to certain team members.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Using Network for Good to manage all donor records effectively. We also use it for all marketing of annual appeals and other fundraising activities as well as peer to peer fundraising.
Great donor management system!
What do you like best about the product?
It's very easy to learn and to use; has a lot of functionality -- we have only touched the surface; very responsive customer support.
What do you dislike about the product?
We use Network For Good for donations and memberships, but the Dashboard stats don't distinguish between a member and a donor. A minor issue with a workaround by creating a report using filters.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our business problem was the lack of a donor management system but Network For Good has solved that. We did compare it with other similar programs before making our decision.
Network for Good saved my life!
What do you like best about the product?
The ease of the entire website. My donors like the simplicity of the ways to donate.
What do you dislike about the product?
One suggestion and not a dislike is that I would like to sell our items on this website in order to raise money.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Keeping a running list of all donors and the amounts they donate through the years. It's basically their likes and dislikes and the input from our donors.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Great for all of your donor needs -- For small non profits that sell items -- this might be helpful to add a price button
Great Help
What do you like best about the product?
I like that there is great customer service. I like that it is easy to use. I like that you can get help when you get stuck. I like that there is a low entry point to using it.
What do you dislike about the product?
So far there is nothing I dislike. Customer service is very helpful.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's nice to have all of our donors in one database. It's nice to have resources that help us improve our fundraising. It's nice to have the staff go to one place when thinking about fundraising. We have raise more money this year than previously using network for good.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If I was speaking to somebody who is considering going with network for good I would certainly recommend it wholeheartedly.
It’s like having an additional staff member at a fraction of the price!
What do you like best about the product?
The Network for Good database allows me to have the information I need anytime, anywhere in seconds.
What do you dislike about the product?
Because Network for Good is primarily a fundraising software, I've had to adapt for other database uses, but it's proved flexible enough. I would like more flexibility in tweaking the giving templates.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Database management is so much better and easier with Network for Good. I can help our organization and our members who need information.
Great for Donor Management!
What do you like best about the product?
Their donor management system is easy to learn and navigate. It makes communication with new and previous donors more efficient and successful. It's also a great all-in-one fundraising platform. Keeping track of donations and statistics is very easy with NFG.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the options in the email templates can be limiting. I wish there were more options.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Keeping track of current and past donors has been made simple with Network for Good. Their information is entered into the system and that makes future communication easier.
Network for Good is a small but mighty CRM
What do you like best about the product?
What continually impresses me about Network for Good is their constant innovation and openness to hearing feedback from those who use their system. I have worked with many larger, more well known CRM tools and NFG stands out from the rest. In addition to prompt help with my very regular questions, the staff also proactively submits product improvement tickets based off of my requests and specific needs. It is always nice to be heard!
What do you dislike about the product?
The main complaint I could pssibly make about Network for Good they have turned into one of their strengths - as a small company, thay so clearly value the input of their clients!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
One of the main benefits of the Network for Good CRM is their built in communications and communication logs - I can stay up to date with what my donors are reading and experiencing, while not having to worry about logging who has been acknowledged already or not manually. This makes it easier to coordinate outreach schedules for my giving levels, and allows me to better space out communications between segments.
Great follow up!
What do you like best about the product?
Staff is accomodating and prompt in responding to my questions.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing so far everyone is very helpful. Software is so easy to use.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Reporting. More efficient than any other software.
Easy to navigate
What do you like best about the product?
Network for Good is easy to navigate between functions-Dashboard, Contacts, Giving, Communication. And I love the Quick Add feature that allows me to add contacts, donations, tasks, etc., very quickly.
What do you dislike about the product?
Pulling reports can be confusing. I have had some trouble creating reports to get the information I need. Sometimes the fix has been a simple change in the filter, however I would like it to be more user friendly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The video feature is wonderful for thanking donors. The benefit is immediate feedback because the message is personal.
