A very robust and easy to use program

  • August 06, 2021

What do you like best about the product?
Our coach, Elizabeth, has been great in steering us and motivating us to make the most of Network for Good.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only thing so far that I don't really like are the extra fees our organization or donors must make for monetary donations.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Network for Good has been great in making us take the time to identify all of our donors and complete all of their contact information. So far, in the short amount of time we have been using Network for Good, we have sent out a fundraising appeal and our monthly newsletter.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Network for Good is an amazing tool. For the most success, you have to put the time and effort into entering your donor information and details.

User friendly database: all-in-one system for every fundraising need

  • August 06, 2021
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Easy campaign and event management tools
Quick staff support and response
User-friendly system
Quick acknowledgment emails (saving so much time!!!)
Donor groups create a quick way to pull information
EASY to use custom report pulling
Enews are easy to create
Video acknowledgments
Everything in ONE
What do you dislike about the product?
I've worked with a lot of donor database systems, and this is by far the best. There is always small things that I will need to do manually. Example: When someone signs up for a recurring gift for our annual fund in Fiscal Year 2021, their recurring gift does not automatically switch to the new campaign for the next fiscal year. I end up going in and manually switching their gift from FY21 to FY22.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Event ticketing, campaigns, and acknowledgment letters have become 10X easier.

What do you dislike about the product?
We worked with Network for Good in 2020 and we have yet to find anything we dislike
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Data collection, mass communication, up to date donors' information and more

User friendly, great customer service

  • August 06, 2021
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Network for good is extremely user-friendly. Their customer service is also great. If I need help with anything or want a demo on something, they are easy to set up a phone call with and great at explaining things. I really have nothing negative to say about them!
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't have any dislikes! Network for good is great.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's a great way to see a full list of our donors or who hasn't donated yet this year, so we know who to target for our next appeal.

The Mac of Donor Management Systems

  • August 06, 2021
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
There is a high level of usability in Network for Good. It's easy to use, the format is clean and modern, and the real-time data updates are extremely helpful. Most importantly, I like that as organization, we're able to track donors interactions, how they give, what inspires them to take action, and learn how they want to interact with our organization.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are still some things missings, mainly in how I can pull data. Sometimes segmentation can be a little clunky and I'll have to pull multiple reports.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Before Network for Good, our organization used a platform-based, extremely outdated system that just didn't meet our needs 15 years later. Network for Good has allowed us to organize better and manage our donors, something that wasn't possible previously. Now we are able to target our donors based on their needs and interests and really segment out our campaigns. In just the first year nine months of using the platform, our donor retention has grown from 29% to 53%.

The more we learn, the more we use the power of "NFG" for fundraising and engagement

  • August 05, 2021
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
As we mature as a Foundation with both development and engagement needs, we gradually see more ways NFG is ready to help. From basic email blasts, custom fields and filters, and development team collaboration task management, we remain impressed.
What do you dislike about the product?
We are still trying to learn the differences between groups and custom filters, but nothing big.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Email blasts with great tracking of "opens", "clicks", "click-throughs" helps us improve our email effectiveness. Flexible customization for fields and filters makes it easy to slice and dice our alumni organization into categories for more compelling outreach.

Easy, Powerful, Flexible Donor Management System

  • August 05, 2021
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The software is easy to set up and intuitive to use. It also has numerous features to that are needed for a non-profit beyond the basic functions for tracking donors and donations, it has numerous other associated features that are required for successful fundraising. It has an excellent mass mailing function with prefined formats for newsletters, appeals, etc. and great tracking of the emails. You can create unlimited online campaign pages and run peer to peer campaigns. We have shelter staff that have to interact with the system everyday to enter in person and mail in donations and they always tell me how easy the system is versus our old software. The functions for managing Thank You letters and receipts now saves hours of time and money from postage from our old process and allows for a faster response. There is much more that you can take advantage of that I do not have room to mention here.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish they would create a module for managing membership. I am able to do this with the group functionality and custom fields but a membership module would be an improvement.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We previously had several systems that tracked donors and donations (shelter management software, Facebook, Paypal, a membership system, newsletter system, Mailchimp for special events, Excel). We had no idea who a donating and how much. I tried manually unifying our data with MS Access but it was an administrative nightmare to keep it updated. Network For Good solved all of these issues and many others saving us both time and money.

Network for Good review

  • August 05, 2021
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
We converted to Network for Good December 2020, and the team has gone above & beyond in supporting the conversion and the day-to-day questions. They have a great 'instant message' feature to ask questions to the accommodating support staff. In addition, they have many policies/procedures available to improve your operations—very easy system to learn to input donations and send acknowledgment letters.
What do you dislike about the product?
we would like to process ach donations in addition to credit card donations electronically
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I had processing questions, but the instant message feature was very helpful and informative
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you are looking for a donation processing system, you will not be disappointed in Network for Good

    Individual & Family Services

Easy to use, nice features

  • August 04, 2021
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
In my opinion, NFG is a reasonably easy platform for users. The interface shows excellent features, and you don't have to dig very far to get the information you need. The contacts, tasks, and notes are super helpful. The reporting tool is great to use and lets you customize. We also like how easy it is to reach customer service or get help quickly when unfamiliar with something. Robust enough for our nonprofit without being too much and keeping it affordable as well.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have struggled a bit with the communication features as far as getting a report or email for one person. So I don't use that as much as I should.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Keeping track of donors better than with our previous CRM. The notes that other volunteers or staff put in are helpful, and the tasks you can assign to others.

Great Coaching

  • August 04, 2021
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Fundraising training, ideas, and coaching when needed, quick response
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing, I like everything about the program
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Teaching my team how to fundraise

It's power in numbers and my team is excited about fundraising... It's less pressure off me having to take the time to do all the training for my team. It's also good for me to have someone to bounce ideas off of.
