NFG is a lifesaver when it comes to fundraising strategies and methods.
What do you like best about the product?
The pre-outlined campaigns are what I like the best about the system.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is an outside credit card authorization called WePay. Nothing too bad but not great for tracking payments.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are solving the problem of a small fundraising team. The system helps with managing donors easily.
Simple and Easy to Use
What do you like best about the product?
I like that the system is straightforward and simple. It is easy to learn. I especially like how you can filter searches in contacts and giving. I like that everything can be tracked within NFG - giving, emails, receipts, letters, etc. - and the ability to send videos and bulk emails within the system. I like how we are able to customize the giving pages and make them appealing with photos, descriptions, goals, peer-to-peer.
What do you dislike about the product?
The system seems to have some glitches. There seem to be shortcut codes that open various windows that I often accidentally activate. Also, there seems to be some disconnect between the donor profiles on the donor management side and the fundraising pages side. However, the support team was able to resolve the issues when I contacted them.
While I like that the filters are so customizable, there are a couple of things I'm unable to find, such as how many donors increased or decreased their giving this year. It would be helpful to have that as a filter option.

There are no problems and critiques yet.

Keeping track of data, donations, and increasing ways to encourage donors.
Tracking all donations with NFG
What do you like best about the product?
It is inexpensive and relatively intuitive.
What do you dislike about the product?
It doesn't track all the information I wish it did. It is difficult to track couples.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sending eblasts is a snap. Once we improve our internet, I look forward to trying out the video options. We are also having our first online auction with NFG.
User friendly!
What do you like best about the product?
The ease of use. It was not complicated to figure out the system without much training. The email blasts are super helpful, as are the tasks and tracking donor activity and generating reports. I really love that you can see who has opened email blasts and the donor's history of giving.
What do you dislike about the product?
It was challenging to figure out how to create events. Also, the importation process from Constant Contact did not go well, and all the data was not imported. We had to pay to manually input the information from our spreadsheets because although the contacts were there, some of the data was not.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Keeping track of our donors' activity and keeping up communications with donors.
The Best Donor Management System There is
What do you like best about the product?
I love how Network for Good takes all the tools you need to run a nonprofit and puts it in one place for you. Since using Network for Good our organization has doubled then tripled our annual income. This system has allowed us to raise the finances we need, while still keeping in communication with our Donors.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find that not having the ability to take donations through a virtual terminal (over the phone) has been the biggest hindrance for me. As such, it has caused me to look at other payment processing systems for over-the-phone donations. I also find not being able to change my donors recurring donation dates have also been quite a hindrance.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
When we moved over to Network for Good, the immediate benefits were that we can send thank you letters easily, everything is in 1 place, our team at any time can run reports, we could create campaigns for individual purposes. There are many more, the list could keep going.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you want a simple, trustworthy, system with amazing customer support, Network for Good is for you.
NFG has been good for my nonprofit!
What do you like best about the product?
What I like about Network for Good is that this organization followed IHONORUSA from birth, when we had nothing to give for a donor management system. The webinars and training guided our organization and processed donations from day one.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are a couple of things I would incorporate. 1. is I would give a little more of a creative factor on the email template process. I use constant contact, and it allows backgrounds and other creative techniques to make the email stand out. Also, 2. when you get everything running at around 90%, I would like to have human interaction on some of my questions. Finally, I was looking for reports mode and could not find it. I would also add a YouTube like library for finding out how to do things and process data. Plus you question below does not give a full view of your clients. For example: I am User, Admin, writer, and Social media creator and I would like to use Network For Good email blast to reach my donors, supporters and volunteers.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
One of the benefits, and there are many, is the landing page that I have created it to look like my brand new website. I can be creative, have videos, in providing more info for our donors to see that they are in a good place because we can express our brand creatively and professionally.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I definitely recommend network for good. When I started our nonprofit, I had few places for the latest information on nonprofit development and donor management, and customer relations management. I was encouraged a few years before I actually signed up for the NFG donor management system, and I wish I had started it's sooner. Network For Good customer relations people were very patient with me when I was comfortable once I joined. I love the platform, and my donations have justified every dollar spent. The other thing to consider, NFG collects the money our organization gets from Facebook. That is a big PLUS!
Best Customer support and one-stop shop solution for donor management
What do you like best about the product?
Network for Good has been a Godsend from day one! We are a small staff and need help in the tech department. Some of us were completely paralyzed at the thought of learning a new software system, but NFG has made the process easier. I took advantage of office hours, the chat help, calling support, AND emailing NFG. Each time I was met with a patient and kind representative who took the time to make sure my issue was truly resolved. Amazing customer support! I totally felt as if we had a safety net of caring people who were there to catch us in even our slight stumbles. They are excellent communicators, and I appreciate that so much!
As far as the software itself goes, I love it that everything is in one place, easy to use and read. Color coding is my jam, and I love the graphs of donations. I'm so visual and it really helps me to be able to SEE how we are doing. Things are immediately updated in real time. Being able to see the documentation of who sent what communication to whom and when it was sent is a huge benefit. I love the ability to quickly acknowledge donors with a video sent straight to their phone or email. I love Network for Good's ease of use, clarity, and visually pleasing interface, as well.

What do you dislike about the product?
We are still new to NFG and learning the ins and outs of the software, but this is what I would suggest for improvement. When I am entering in a new contact, and the email is already in our system, I wish there was a route to take to resolve that right away--like a button you could click to say that we are talking about the same person, I just have more information to add about him/her. A "merge contact" button or prompt right there would be so helpful.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Network for Good is helping us know our own non-profit better! Because we all have access to the donor information, we can work better as a team to fundraise and be aware of the people who support our mission!! Before Network for Good, the office manager knew about donors and donations, I knew about volunteers, and others had their specialized jobs. Now, I feel much more empowered to connect with the very people who help keep us in business. Network for Good has done us a world of good!
Communication is so important. With NFG, I can log in and see when things were taken care of, and by whom. I can even see exactly what was said or written to our donors. A+ on the increase in accurate communication. I do not need to ask so-and-so, or wait for email replies, to find out what was completed. I can log in and see for myself!

Happy New Customer
What do you like best about the product?
As new customers for Network for Good, my biggest compliment is that the customer service is exceptional. I love the daily office hours because I know that if at any time I have a time sensitive question, I can just hop on and ask. I also like to listen to other questions that other organizations may have.
What do you dislike about the product?
I can honestly say I have not found anything that I completely dislike. If I had to choose something. Running a report has been rather difficult and I have had to watch videos several times to get the outcome I needed.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our previous donor software was a mess. Partly our fault and partly theirs. Since transitioning to Network for Good we have been able to clean up our database tremendously.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Definitely utilize your customer support. They have made this process seamless for us.
