Streamlines Donations, But Needs Clearer Event and Email Guidance
What do you like best about the product?
Network for Good is very helpful in the way that it collects donations and handles my donor lists and makes it easier for me to send out thank you letters to them.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think the least helpful thing is that when you are creating an event or making a letter or email, it doesn't explain enough what each function does as you are creating it, so I end up skipping a lot of it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Network for Good makes it really easy for people to donate and it makes it easy for me to keep in contact with my donors, with emailing and sending Thank You Letters. It is also good as a database that shows all of my donors and donations and we use that for research a lot.
Robust CRM with Room for Improvement in Reporting
What do you like best about the product?
I appreciate the functionalities provided by Bonterra Network for Good, including the CRM capabilities that help manage donor information and their contributions, both in-kind and monetary. I love the campaign and event management features that allow me to run campaigns, manage ticket sales for events, and have these seamlessly integrate with the CRM, ensuring all event information is transferred automatically. The ability to maintain ongoing communication and touchpoints with our donors is highly beneficial as it supports our organization's engagement efforts. Furthermore, I value the recent inclusion of AI, which has the potential to greatly enhance ease of reporting once further optimized, allowing for quicker access to data and insights needed for tasks like constructing reports for donor management. At this time, AI tool was not able to successfully pull this report for me. The ability to handle mass email and text communications within one platform is incredibly advantageous. I consistently recommend Bonterra Network for Good on various platforms, committees, and partnerships due to these valuable capabilities and the platform’s forward-thinking direction in donor engagement and relationship management.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find it challenging that there is a lack of user-friendly reporting functionalities within the system itself. Having to export data to Excel spreadsheets for further manipulation is cumbersome and inefficient, especially with over 5,000 donors in the management system. This process not only causes confusion but also introduces possibilities for human error. Additionally, the current AI integration has limitations, as it cannot yet produce specific reports, such as those needed for annual appeals (mass mail out process i need all donors (donations/ticket purchases/etc.) with mailing addresses present that have given within the last 3 years to our organization and include all major lifetime donors with mailing addresses ($5,000 and up) in one comprehensive report. There is no streamlined user-friendly reporting that can handle this request without spending hours reviewing Excel Spreadsheets. Furthermore, relying on third parties for verifying mailing addresses and manipulating data further complicates our workflow.

I use Bonterra Network for Good to streamline donor management, campaigns, and event ticketing in one platform, enhancing donor communication. However, I face challenges with reporting ease and integration, often needing external tools for complex reports and accurate data handling.
Empowers Nonprofits with Efficient Donor Management
What do you like best about the product?
I find Bonterra Network for Good incredibly valuable for tracking donations and staying in contact with our donors, both individual and corporate. I appreciate its user-friendly interface, especially after transitioning from a manual tracking system. The integration for sending automatic texts and emails to sponsors is highly beneficial. It also supports us with event planning and budgeting, while enabling us to express gratitude and maintain constant communication with donors, which I find essential. The tracking feature is a major highlight, allowing for easy reporting and data management. I also appreciate that updates are made regularly, which keeps the service innovative and effective.
What do you dislike about the product?
We find the limitation on the number of users to be a problem, as it's currently only allowed to have three users. Our organization needs more access for additional users beyond the treasurer, president, and executive assistant.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use the product for donor engagement, event management, and financial tracking. It simplifies contact management and fundraising, enhancing budgeting and planning. Automated communication with sponsors and donors ensures effective interaction.
Everything You Need
What do you like best about the product?
Bonterra is an amazing software for fundraising, events, and auctions. The best feature is the fact that there are ALWAYS opportunities to learn. There are so many live training sessions, articles, video archives, and a chat feature.
What do you dislike about the product?
There really is no downside. If I had to choose one, I'd say that it can be overwhelming to get started. However, it is easy to find the answers to your questions and they are always rolling out new updates to make the experience even better.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are a small organization, and that means that we have a very small staff. Bonterra makes it simple for us to do the things that we need to do among the staff that we do have. Everything is streamlined and easy to manage.

What do you like best about the product?
CRM management. Ease of use. Layout. Tracking donations very effectively.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not having notes for an organization link to a specific contact or vice versa. Event funcationality- specific to silent auction is clunky.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Donation tracking is very effective when tracking ACH donations with the ability to accurately label these and connect with Quickbooks.
We love this platform for donations. The support staff is very helpful when we need help.

It helps us be able to collect online payments
A very comprehensive database management program that is a great tool, but I'm struggling to learn
What do you like best about the product?
The ease of inputting names and contacts I'd have to say is the best feature and affects my job the most. My job as an administrative assistant only really requires limited knowledge of this program, label creation, database input and searching for addresses, but all these are very easy to use and I LOVE how easy labels are to create!
What do you dislike about the product?
I know there are so many more features I could use, but I don't because I feel they're hard to understand, like the filtering is very confusing to me. I wish there video tutorials that I can watch at my free time instead of Webinars occasionally.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
That's hard for me to answer with the kind of user I am, just data input and retrieval and labels. While it sure does make these very easy, I have really had issues with Excel/Word to run mail merges for labels being tricky and this is a breeze on here. So, I guess, that would be my problem that was solved.
Change for the best!
What do you like best about the product?
Bonterra Network for Good is the only online donation platform I've used. So I don't have a lot to compare it to. With that being said, I find it universally great for tracking donors and their donations. It offers a lot of features to initiate contact with current, old and lapsed donors. I would also like to mention that there have been significant changes that have made it easier to use, easily integrated with QuickBooks as well as clear and precise AI help to address any support issues I may come accross.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find the cost to be a little on the high side. The price would be the biggest factor.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Initally when I started using Bonterra Network for Good you could not see (at least to my knowledge) exactly what donations were included in deposits. It made our accounting difficult to understand. However, the new ability to see the deposit dates on the reports helps drastically.
Donors will love it!
What do you like best about the product?
Easy access for our donors and our company as well. It is easy to maneuver and follow the steps to make the donations. The fees are low and everything is going to a good cause. Bonterra network for good is set up with easy to follow steps for every aspect of the website. It makes it very easy to make annual or yearly donations to the company that you are passionate about.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing. I like the system. I have no dislikes. The system is set up for an easy following process of donating to your favorite company, or fund raiser.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
To track our donations aside from our other income, and to be able to keep in contact with our donors.
Great all in one CRM
What do you like best about the product?
I like having everything in one place. It's pretty easy to use. I love how when someone does anything, it's all documented in the system:bid on an auction item, donate, open an email. I love the metrics.
What do you dislike about the product?
The cost keeps going up! The interface on the auctions for the donor could be a little more friendly.

Tracking donor relations, giving,emails, even helps with the accounting, and now you have added volunteers.
