Great company that pays attention to it's partners and users.
What do you like best about the product?
The openminded hunger for making the product better and better is more than I've seen with other GRC solutions. Apptega has increased capability and potential greatly over the last 4 years that Arrakis Consulting has been working with them. Regular calls with heavy hitters in Apptega to help improve the product and expand capabilities is a true sign of caring about improving and doing better than the day before.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not as many integrations as other platforms but it's not really a dislike. The Apptega team is very up front with wanting to improve at every opportunity.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
consolidating tasks, including effort and dollar cost in tasks

What do you like best about the product?
Apptega has helped us manage and automate our NIST CSF compliance. The OOTB framework makes it easy to achieve compliance without the need to switch between multiple spreadsheets and other applications
What do you dislike about the product?
the ability to import custom assessments were lacking, but off late Apptega has made tremendous strides towards improving that functionality

We used Apptega’s OOTB framework to help achieve NIST CSF compliance
Great experience using Apptega for cyber assessments
What do you like best about the product?
Apptega allowed us to perform assessments against multiple cyber frameworks in an organized and structured format. It also enabled us to market assessment services for many new frameworks.
What do you dislike about the product?
Initially, I was disappointed that Apptega did not allow us to upload custom frameworks, but I believe recent versions have rolled out that ability.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Apptega allowed us to streamline our assessment process beyond spreadsheets. It also allowed us to use additional resources to perform assessments, since the format and questions are straightforward in the system.

What do you like best about the product?
Risk Tracking and Task Management help to create functional security programs.
What do you dislike about the product?
The RBAC could be improved to offer more meaningful control.

Continuous Compliance Delivered
What do you like best about the product?
Apptega has helped us manage and automate our continuous compliance journey. It has a large suite of OOTB frameworks to chose from for various compliance needs!
What do you dislike about the product?
Every product goes through its maturity cycle, one thing Apptega should focus on is improving its integrations with third party vendors.

Great platform, great people!
What do you like best about the product?
The people are amazing - especially Garfield our account manager. The platform is also flexible, does exactly what we need, and at a reasonable cost.
What do you dislike about the product?
Editing controls and scores in the Report section can be cumbersome due to the UI.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It gives us a centralized location for assessing, reporting and managing our customer compliance programs.
Helping us mature to the next level of automation
What do you like best about the product?
I love how intuitive the GUI is, and the various functionality included such as risk scoring, the built-in compliance frameworks, and the export reports for leadership. The customer support has been excellent as well.
What do you dislike about the product?
I'd like to see more integration with our other applications to create a seamless GRC suite.

We are maturing from manual compliance to automated processes and Apptega is integral to this maturation.

I like the ease of assessing and auditing our compliance posture based off of different security standards

There is a learning curve when first setting up your compliance program.
